WE'RE AT THE STUDIO DOING THE regionals routine, but it just feels wrong, solely because Daniel isn't here and the routine feels so different without him.

Since James Daniels understudy, James has to do Daniels solo which is definitely taking a toll on James. What's so hard is that they both have two different dance styles.

When James does the solo, he messes up and says, "Sorry guys, can I try that again? I just messed up a little bit." James smiled nervously.

"Yeah, sure, James, but let's take five." Kate tells the group: James looks defeated; contemporary is not James' forte.

"I know James is trying really hard to get that solo, but Daniel was the best person for that position."

After Kate called a break, We all formed a circle, pretty much discussing random things before Michelle spoke up. "Look, I know this is going to sound crazy, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but we need to try and get Emily back."

"Sorry, Michelle, but Emily left. That was her decision." I said truthfully. Emily left with no "goodbye," no "I'm leaving." She just picked up her bags and left.

"Yeah, no thanks, Michelle, but how do we manage to do that?" West says agreeing with me.

"Emily is so stubborn; there's no way she's coming back." Riley informs Michelle.

Michelle walks into the middle of the circle, facing us. "This is her home! We're her family! I know we can do this; we can get Emily to come back, and you guys are giving up on the idea." Michelle argues

I guess there's no way to stop Michelle; we're going to get Emily back, and even if she says no, Michelle won't give up. Plus, girl has a way with her words.

After Michelle told us how she wanted to get Emily back, I went to look for James. Lately, the only thing James has been focused on is the solo. He's been trying to nail this solo for a while, and it's clearly taking a toll on him.

I go to studio B, and right as I'm about to open the door, Beth walks out with a bright smile.

"James?" I asked before he acknowledged me. "Hi."

"What's up?" He asks, stopping his rehearsal.

"Seeing Beth with James scares me a little; I know she kind of has a thing for James. I mean, they had a thing in the past, but now James doesn't, and I don't know, maybe I'm thinking something that's not real."
