AFTER MICHELLE TOLD ME
and James that she wants to be the new dance captain, I sent Riley a text saying, "Meet me in J.J.'s back corner. I've got news." We filled her in, and now we're seeing what we can do.

"We just need to show Kate and Chris that nobody really wants Emily and her bad choreography here anymore." I get what James is saying, but it's Emily; somehow she'll sneak her way to the top.

"We need a new dance captain because the way that Emily is treating people is horrible, and we're not going to win regionals with her choreography."

"I have an idea. I say we re-choreograph the regionals routine; make it so good, make it better. Include people's ideas." You see, this is why Michelle has to be dance captain.

"Yeah, and then we can show it to Kate and Chris, and she'll love it so much that she'll have to put you as dance captain." Riley says, getting both me and James to nod in agreement. "When do we start?" I ask. " No time like the present."

Now we get to work.

All four of us are in studio B, away from everyone else, because we obviously don't want to get caught. And we're rehearsing the routine while Michelle teaches us what to do. Instead of Michelle being in the dance, she'll take on the role of dance captain and lead.

The dance is very unique, to say the least; everyone has an input as well.

"It's turning out great because we all have a say in it. It's so new, fresh, and different, like even better than I expected."

We all kind of lost track of time, and while we were rehearsing, Chris walked in, and I was the first to notice. I messed up the dance on purpose so Chris wouldn't catch up.

"Noelle, James, Riley, and Michelle." Chris takes a pause, and I can speak for everyone; we're a little terrified. "Studio A is where rehearsal is." We play it off as if we thought rehearsal was at studio B.

"I feel relieved; now that we haven't been caught, he doesn't know, so thank goodness."

When all four of us get to studio A, Emily is already on our case: "Welcome to class! Thanks for joining us! It actually started five minutes ago." She says to us in the most sarcastic way ever.

We get into positions to perform for Chris; the dance may be good, but it's too bland for most of us dancers. Ok, it's bland for everyone.

After the boring rehearsal with Emily, we went straight back to studio B to work on the new routine. During rehearsal, I heard the door open to revel West.
