Noelle is the older sister of Richelle and has been dancing with The Next Step since she was three. They always say don't mix relationships with business, in this case with dance. It seems like Noelle found herself mixing both dance and relationship...

MICHELLE DECIDED TO BRING dancers from different cultures, which I think is very dance captain-like of her. She's showing us a different style and way of dancing, which will always amaze me.
After the dance had ended, we clapped for them.
"As dancers, I thought it would be important to show you guys a different style of dance that we don't usually look at. Bharata-" Michelle says before James cuts her off on the pronunciation of "Bharatanatyam."
"So my point is that the way that they danced was full of soul, and I think that's what our regionals routine is missing." Michelle announced, "I think we should totally do one of their moves!" Tiffany expresses.
Ideas shoot around the group, with all of us coming up with ways to have a more expressive dance.
"What if we do an overhead lift?" Giselle asked the group as we went quiet. An overhead lift is quite risky; it's all about trust between two people, and if there's no trust, someone could get hurt.
"No. Absolutely not; that's way too risky; we can't throw that in at this point." Miss Kate affirms.
"Well, Giselle and I used to do overhead lifts all the time." Daniel adds, "Yeah, like, what about the helicopter lift?" Michelle suggests. As much of a risk as it is, I have to agree that the lift might be a good idea. As long as Giselle and Daniel do it.
"Okay, we'll think about it. But in the mean time, get back to rehearsal." Miss Kate confirms. I don't know what Kate will decide. The idea lies in Kate and Chris' hands.

We're all hanging around at Studio A waiting for Chloe to leave Kate's office so we can rehearse.
Once she's out, we get right into it. Everything is going really well for Daniel and Giselle's break for the mission.
"As soon as I hear a crack, I know something must happen."
Daniel was in the middle of the floor, on the ground, holding his ankle in pain.
My heart cracks into two. Daniel works so hard, and with this injury, he could be out for good.
I'd say 30 minutes passed before Kate and Chris came back from wherever they took Daniel. "Daniel's injury is serious. It's a grade 3 ankle sprain." Kate informs us.
"How long is he out for?" Giselle asks, "The doctors are still running tests, but he's definitely out of regionals." Chris responds.
"This is all your fault! Are you happy now? Because if you would've just listened to Kate and Chris and not let them do the lift, this wouldn't have happened. You're the dance captain." Stephanie lashes out at Michelle, who just stands there.
"This is not Michelle's fault!" Giselle sticks up for our dance captain: "Yeah, Giselle and Daniel said they could do the lift." I defend.
"Well, Daniel clearly couldn't do the lift. So, Michelle shouldn't have let them do it." West inquired, "Guys, I don't think it's fair to blame Daniel for this." Tiffany objects. It may not, but Daniel shouldn't have done it if he knew about his own injury.
"No, no, no. It's definitely Daniel's responsibility; he knew his ankle was hurt. He should've said no to the left." James spits it out. James pretty much just admitted he knew Daniel was injured.
"Wait, so you're saying you knew he was injured and didn't tell us?" Tiffany asks, "You didn't tell me?" I question. I wish James would've told me about Daniel; I could've easily told Chris and Kate, and none of this would've happened.
"He should've known his limits as a dancer; that's the first ruling dance." James says trying to justify his words. "Regardless, Michelle, you're the dance captain, and that's your job; it's your job to know what's going on with everyone –."
"Guys, this is not Michelle's fault." Eldon says cutting Stephanie off. "Dude, why are you defending Michelle?" West asks, "Because Daniel should have known his limits." "I'm really sorry, guys; it's all my fault." Michelle confesses, which isn't true.
We end up yelling at each other again because of Michelle's apology. Can we ever catch a break?
"Enough! Everyone needs to stop blaming each other. It was an accident. It puts us in a tough situation, but stop throwing the blame around." Kate lectures us.

After the whole dispute, Kate yelled at us to do our homework instead of worrying. Well, all except one.
"James not doing his homework right now is not good. We're always at the studio rehearsing; we just have to find time to finish our work."
I hear someone call Daniel's name, causing me to turn around and see Daniel walking on crutches.
"How are you, Daniel?" Giselle asks, "I'm okay." Daniel sadly replies, "I ripped the ligaments pretty badly, and it looks like I'm going to need surgery. The doctor says I won't be able to dance for months." He confesses.
Daniel might as well have said that he wouldn't be dancing for the rest of the season, and I can tell it hurts him as much as it hurts us.
"Saying bye to Daniel is really hard. I mean, I know it's hurting him inside because he has to let go of the studio."
Daniel and I have been great friends and have always dreamed of going to regionals together, but now that's pretty much impossible.
Without Daniel, we're one dancer short.

A/N: it's pretty much been a week since I've updated and I've had like fifty assignments and the cottage was an experience. Also I live in Canada and have been losing power due to the weather so it's hard to update without the show. Anyways I can't wait to see you in the next chapter. Regionals is soon. :)
