WE MADE IT TO THE FOURTH
round, which is Michelle's solo, and I can't wait to watch it. Michelle has gone through a lot this season with all the drama and I know that she's definitely going to channel that in her dance.

"Okay guys, we have like six hours until Michelle has to compete for female solo. So?" Kate asks.

Still in our costumes, James twirls forward towards Kate, singing, "Let's go to the mall." Making us laugh at him.

"I would really love to go to the mall." Michelle pleads to Kate.

"Hey, only if you promise to be here an hour before you perform," Kate says sternly, pointing a finger at Michelle.

"I'll be here two hours before, I promise." Michelle exaggerates, making Kate smile. "Okay good." Kate says as we all head out to the mall.

We're all back at the arts center. Well, not all of us. We had left Michelle at the mall so that she could pick something up for her mom, but she never came back.

The team and I split up and walked around the centre, hoping we'd run into her, but no luck. We grouped back up near the front of the building when we asked if Emily could call her to see if she'd pick up.

"I'm sure she's on her way." Talia reassures us. Well, mostly Ms. Kate. "Can we just go one week, one week, without losing a team member?" Kate stresses.

"You know what? I'll just go back to the mall and I'll look for her." Chloe says as we tell her to keep her phones on.

"Noelle can pull something together." Riley pitches as I nod my head. "Yeah, yeah, I can do that." I say, rushing forward to the rehearsal rooms.

"When I originally tried out for the solo, it was so that Emily could prove herself to Amanda, but now there's a chance that I might have to fully perform it."

I stand backstage as the team surrounds me, helping me with hair and makeup. The bad thing about this is that the judges are going to tell that I'm not the actual female soloist because I'm in my duet costume.

Amanda walks by us with a look of guilt as she enters the stage. Watching Amanda doesn't make me as nervous as I thought. It's not that her dance is bad, but because Amanda has done my team so dirty that if I have to go on, I'll beat her.

Emily and Riley keep telling me all these words of confidence, but all I can do is focus on Amanda as she comes off stage. I wait a minute walking closer to the wings-

"Michelle!" Emily yells out. "Thank God." I breathe out as I rush back, running to get Michelle ready.

Michelle hits the stage and owns it. You can tell whatever happened is causing this huge drive in her to dance better than ever.

"Did we all see that hair!"

There is a reason Michelle was Miss National Soloist. She gives the audience a show and doesn't falter at any point.

"And the winner of the female solo moving on to the semifinals is... The Next Step," They announce as Amanda and Michelle hug on stage before she runs to us.

"That's out girl." I cheer, pulling her into a big hug as she laughs. Elite walks past with smug faces as we wave them goodbye.

Not only can we beat the best, but we can be the best.

Sooo I actually hate this. I don't know why but this chapter took soooo long for me to write because I knew it would be short but I also didn't know how to write everything. Writers block problems!
