Y/N'S POV
"Pleaseeeee" I beg
"No y/n you are not going to that party" my mom says getting into the elevator with me to go up to our floor.
"Pleaseee mom, I'll do anything around the compound to help" i continue begging as my mom walks into her room with me following behind
"Y/n" she warns
"I'll clean my room, I'll do all the dishes, I'll do the laundry, I'll do every bit of homework I have" i bribe, my mom stops and thinks for a bit giving me a tiny bit of hope in my heart
"Who's going" she asks, my heart jumps up and down with joy
"Everyone from my classes"
"Boys and Girls" she questions
"Yesss, but I'll stay with Jenna the whole time
"Who's house is it at"
"Marcus's"
"No" she says simply, what!
"Please mom please please" i hold onto her arms jumping up and down like a child but i don't care I really wanna go
"Y/n I've said no, it's a no" mom says trying not to snap but she's very close to, i groan loudly throwing her arm out of my hand, my mom turn sharply holding my face by my chin bringing it close to her's
"Do not do that again" she says sternly, i scrunch up my face in hopes she would let go but she never
"Do you understand" she says bringing my chin close to her again, again I try and move out off her grab which causes her to hold it tighter
"Do you understand young lady" my moms says through her teeth, i sigh in defeat looking down at the ground and nod my head.
"Words"
"Yes i understand" i mumble looking into her eyes, she closes her eyes taking a deep breath and removing her hand from my chin
"I'm not doing it to be mean" she sighs and cups my cheeks in her hands
"I know" I mumble looking down again, I know she's my mom and is trying to look out for me but I've never been to a school party and I just want to go once.
"I love you" she kisses my forehead and strokes my hair resting her forehead onto mine.
"I love you too" i say truthfully, I couldn't not love my mom, she's done so much for me, I'm still gonna go to this party but I still love her the most.
"I need you to be asleep by at least 12, you've got school tomorrow" my mom says handing me the clean pyjamas that she washed for me.
"and even if I let you go, you don't even know how to use a washing machine" my mom says making me laugh, i thank her for my pyjamas and say goodnight, giving her a hug and kiss before going back through to my room.
I change into my pyjamas because my mom may come in and I would be busted. I called Jenna and let her know what I was doing.
