Chen zhangwei put her down inside the car.
"Change your clothes and wipe your body for now,you cant take shower,call me when you are done"
Liang Xuiying nod and start moving.
"How many fell?"
Chen Zhangwei ask solemnly
"Boss they are 3 and 1 was one of the newest!sorry boss we didnt protect him properly"
The soldier reported sadly,two of them fought of them even the beggining of the apocalypse!
The other soldiers eyes reden.
Chen Zhangwei said
"Remember the feeling of lossing someone important!and use this to work and train harder,use this experience so we all have a motivation to get stronger!so we can protect more people!move forward!move ahead for a better future!use this experience to learn in a hardway!so on behalf of our fallen brothers!let us all work hard to get stronger!"
The soldiers are already crying but one by one cried out
"To our fallen brothers!"
"To the brave soldiers!"
"For the heroes who save lives!"
"For the protector of the citizen!".
Liang Xuiying can hear everthing,she look down feeling too emotional,
She was sitting in the car but the door was open and her feet is dangling outside the car.
Chen Zhangwei can feel the sadness in her so he kneel in her front and wipe her tears
"What is there to cry?"
Liang Xuiying purse her lips
"If only i am stronger!if only i worked more harder"
Chen Zhangwei cover her lips using her thumb to stop her from talking
"My dear this is war!the soldiers are prepare for the worst!we know that we can die anytime,we know that what we are doing is dangerous but we still enter this field!our mission is to protect the people and country so even a soldier fell his will,will be passed on!those fallen soldiers didnt die for naught!they die for the people and country!"
Liang Xuiying sniff and hug him
"I know but still uncomfortable!i hope that this will end soon"
Chen Zhangwei chuckle
"Silly girl,even without zombies there is still enemies!"
Liang Xuiying just sigh.
Chen Zhangwei start treating her wounds and scratches,
Everytime he put medicine his face is getting darker and darker!
Her whole back is bruised!her body is full of scratches and bruised averywhere!
"I am not careful so i fell down from a hill"
She explain softly while looking at his darken face
"No next time okay?my heart is aching seeing you like this"
She blushed and lean on her chest
"I am sorry"
Chen Zhangwei sigh and hug her gently,afraid to hurt her.
"Dont apologize my dear!its not your fault!its mine"
She shook her head denying
"Dont blame yourself okay?if you do this again i will get mad!and i will ignore you!"
Chen Zhangwei chuckle
"Yes maam".
They resume their travel after overnight rest.
They finally arrived at the north base,
But was bump into unexpected scene!
"The zombies are attacking a base?"
"What the f***!"
The soldiers mumble,Chen Zhangwei glance at Liang Xuiying and understand,
She took a stacks of money to get some weapons and explosives.
He distribute the wepons and start throwing explosives the zombies head,
Explosions after explosions came!the people from north base was startled at first
But when they saw that the group came for help they are relief!
When the front is finally clear someone open the gate obviously letting them in!
Chen Zhangwei was still not sure how is the people in north base,
He want to find out if they are worth helping or not!.
Liang Zhangwei understand his thought so she didnt say anything and just support him whatever he wanted to do!
Even exploding the whole base she will hand him all the explosives!
