What Does She Want?

(A/N) I kind of pushed this out when I'm dealing with some things, so I'm not 100%.

Ookami Mio couldn't help but worry about Haru's safety as she was basically being pulled by Fubuki to keep running away from the trees that were soon to be closing in on them. Ever since she witnessed him getting dragged into the forest, she couldn't help but always look back behind her, watching tree after tree sliding next to one another.

'Haru-kun...." She almost felt hopeless not reacting quickly enough to free him from whatever and whoever had a hold of him. To her knowledge, he could be getting tortured again and it was going to be on her for letting that happen.

"Mio, we need to keep running!" Finally turning back to see everyone else ahead of her running for their lives, Fubuki being the one taking her arm, she started to pick up her feet and started to run faster.

"Coco-chan what's going on with that dragon form?! We kind of need it ASAP!" Gura shouted for the dragon woman to transform, but the sweat that's running down her face wasn't a good sign.

"I can't! I don't know why but my body won't transform!" Something was blocking her transforming capabilities and whatever it was, it was slowly making her drained.

Mio, trying to transform herself, couldn't seem to be able to as well. And if they couldn't transform, then there was a huge possibility that there was something going on.

"I can see some light further ahead! We can't slow down now!" Calli had alarmed everyone as they continued on running. It was indeed true that there was light at the end of the path that they were following but who's to say that it wasn't some type of illusion?

It was either they continued on running or they die.

Either way, Mio was determined enough to see past the light, find Haru and get some answers from Mumei.

And so they continued to push on, until they eventually got past the light at the end of the path and ended up on a endless field of grass with a tree house in the middle of the field. The tree was definitely big, and the only way inside was to climb the ladder that was at the bottom of the tree.

"Am I only one that's finding this shit weird?" Kiara was on the nose to verbally speak out what everyone was thinking right now.

"Weird is an understatement! Walking to the same place, trees chasing us, and now this! Like, the fuck is going on here?!" Not feeling as much drained as she was previously, Coco screamed out her complaints and confusion.

"It's possible that we just walked into one of concepts' territory." Rushia speculated, grabbing Korone's interest, even though she was more or less confused than everyone else.

"And how can you be sure about that?" The question had made everyone interested in what Rushia's was going to say.

"Manipulating surroundings isn't that much a huge feat, but being able to make us walk back and forth, manipulating the environment into a grander scale in a form of a trap... T-There's no doubt that we're in a concepts territory." Even when sure, Rushia couldn't hide the uneasiness in her voice.

"..." The uneasiness was also shared by everyone else, a little to such beings like Calli and Coco. They were being played around the enemy's finger and they had no choice but to keep going until they find Mumei.

"...What about Haru?" Fubuki's question had broke everyone's anxiety. "We're going back for him right?"

"Yes, we will. Or, if anyone doesn't seem up to it, I will. Mio had been the first to respond, determination and a lack of care for whatever was out there that meant harm to them.
