Ciel pov: Kohaku announced all the targets she had in exchange for killing them. As the people gained their freedom, anyone that posed a threat to her was a target.

"Of course we are targets." Noel scoffed in annoyance. Not only did we have the mechas to fight, but we had to fend off the citizens as well.

"It could be worse Mario could be here" I said trying to lighten the mood I got a little giggle out of Noel

"Elisia, it's probably better if you don't use the seventh holy scripture against anyone but the mechas," Noel said. I agree with that.

I blasted some of the mechas out of the sky, gaining the attention of the citizens. "Kill them!" They shouted, running towards us.

Noel and I fought the citizens hand to hand, making sure to harm them as little as possible. Noel was better at fighting hand to hand than me, due to her flexibility. I had trouble since I had my bunker in my hand

From the corner of my eye I saw someone that looked often familiar fending off citizens she was struggling against the mechas though

"It's Miyako Arima!" I called out to Noel she looked to where I was pointing and saw her "Alright new plan Elisia protect Miyako at all cost!" She shouted barely managing to dodge one of the mecha's blasts

"At times like this, I wish I had followed Aoko. I'm not suited for this shit!" Noel sighed but I reassured her that she truly is strong. A mecha was about to blast me when suddenly a black key was thrown through a mecha's head with perfect precision.

"Aoko, now that's a name I haven't heard in a while, right Ritsuka?" A girl asked, letting out a small laugh. "Oh, not joking around this time, sis," Ritsuka said, knowing the current situation.

"Yuika, your accuracy never ceases to amaze me; it's truly a spectacle to behold." I joked, trying to lighten the mood because the city was still overrun.

"Wow, you people from the church are so funny that I question why I betrayed you daily." Ritsuka said sarcastically. Yuika looked in her sister's direction, "be nice since we all need to work together," she said, gazing back towards me, "Go save Miyako Rituska and I can handle this." Yuika said, clutching more keys.

Noel and I nodded and dashed towards Miyako, fending off everything on the way before Miyako could get finished off. I shot a mecha with the seventh holy scripture at the same time Noel threw her key at another. We stopped once we got to Miyako. I protected the front while Noel protected the back.

"This is hell!" I groaned, quickly realizing how overwhelmed we were. "Why couldn't they at least leave Riesbyfe here? I even would take Arcuied!" I groaned, practically shouting in anguish due to knowing we couldn't do this for long.

"Nanako, how are you holding up?" I asked, trying to figure out if I had to give her time to rest and recharge. "I'll hold up for a little while longer," she said, trying to squeeze every ounce of power into the seventh holy scripture.

"Elisia" Don't push yourself, tell me if you need to retreat okay! " Noel shouted while smashing Hisui Mechas to bits. I nodded, "I'll make sure to tell you Noel, I would hate to worry you." I said, blasting the mechas out of the sky. I looked back and saw Miyako begin to stand and she started to run away from us, "damnit!" We both shouted in unison as we started the pursuit.

"Can this girl stand still? " Noel scowled. She threw a key at Miyako, letting it impale her shirt so it would pin her to a nearby tree. "Wait, I honestly didn't expect to pull that off," Noel said, shocked at what she had just done. "Good job, we can celebrate this achievement later." I laughed. She just shook her head at that and sighed. "You are so cute, Elisia," she said, walking up to Miyako.

"You stay here, Arima." Noel sighed as she spun her weapon around. "Elisia, we should probably bring her to the church. It'll be much safer than outing her." Noel said. I nodded, agreeing that it would be safer for her than just being out in the open.

"The sister's aren't particularly powerful, but it's something." I sighed as I grabbed onto Miyako's arm to stop her from moving. "Let me go!" She cried out, trying to squirm away, but Noel quickly knocked her out with a chop to the neck.

"Let's hurry this up. We don't want to wait until the city gets destroyed," Noel said, running towards the church.

"You better not take long, guys," I said, following Noel into the church. I wondered how long it would take for them to spring back into action.

Shiki pov: I don't understand what is up with these people. The city is being attacked and they are paying it little mind. They are just having fun. I don't understand how they could be laughing at a time like this.

"Are you confused by this?" Satsuki asked, sitting down next to me, "Have you had friends like this?" She questioned. I shook my head. "All my friends are insane." I said. Satsuki smiled, "Well, we're now your friends." She giggled while patting me on the shoulder.

I tried to talk to Shiki but my mind was empty, like he had vanished. I didn't entirely get this, but I was hoping he wasn't gone forever since this isn't my body and I don't want to be at the helm forever. I turned my head to gaze at my supposed sister I saw her shift a bit as she slowly opened her eyes

"K-kohaku..." she mumbled as she slowly sat up. "Where is Kohaku?" she asked, trying not to believe that she was truly betrayed. She looked around the room, confirming this was reality. "Let's go stop her," she said as she stood up and stumbled to the door.

We followed. As soon as we left, we were met with Mecha Shiki and Mecha Akiha ready to kill us. This wasn't going to be easy, I thought to myself as I clutched my knife.
