Akiha pov:"Akiha, come on out!" Kohaku said somewhat loudly, awaiting for me to come out of my walk-in closet.
"I'm so embarrassed..." I mumbled
I stepped outside and showed off my kimono, which was a hazy, purplish color. Kohaku put her hands on me, blushing in the meantime.
"You look beautiful," she firmly stated.
"Aren't you supposed to be tending to Nii-san?" I asked
"I am, but I don't want to leave you alone, Lady Akiha. It is the night before the new year. Soon, the next year will arrive, and I want to make sure that you will have a good end of the year," she said.
"Oh—Thank you!" I said
"Akiha, you always are beautiful." Kohaku claimed
"I—you're embarrassing me!"
Kohaku laughed a tiny bit, and she adjusted my accessory in my hair.
"Let's go downstairs," she said with a calm whisper. She took my hand and led me to the stairs. We slowly began to descend the stairs and look around.
"Nii-san, you're wearing that!?" I yelled
My Nii-san glared at me with fear. "Akiha—I—no, I wasn't!" He claimed
"He's lying; he planned on wearing that during the party; he didn't think he had to look fancy." Hisui claimed
"Hisui, don't tell her false things!" Shiki said to her
"CHANGE NOW!!!" I hissed
"Yes ma'am!!" He shouted as he ran to his room, and as he did, other guests arrived.
"I can't believe he thought he could be informal at this party," Arcueid claimed.
"See, even the stupid vampire knows to be formal at a New Year's party!!" Ciel stated
"Shut it, Ciel. You realize the only reason you are allowed to do so is because I said that you wouldn't make a scene or stink up the place, so don't you dare, either, or else I'll have to kick your ass!" Arcueid shouted
"Now there is no need to fight after all, it is New Year's Eve," I mentioned.
"You are really chipper." Satsuki said
"You took notice? Well, it's because I have one of the sweetest maids on the planet."I giggled
"Don't flatter me like that, Akiha. I'm just doing my job, you know."Kohaku said
"I mean it! I really appreciate what you have done for years. You faked a smile for your sister, and you served me even though you were in agonizing pain. I want you to know I really appreciate everything you have done."I told her.
"Stop. Don't praise a traitor like me," she claimed.
"How many times do I have to tell you it doesn't matter!?" I asked
She looked at the ground as if she were pouting. "Onee-chan..." Hisui sighed, and she kneeled down to comfort her.
"Kohaku, it's a new year. Forget the sins of the past and let's continue to move forward. Be stronger than ever. You know that you are the most important thing to me, so please don't belittle yourself anymore," I said.
Sion nodded. "Wise words," she said.
Riesbyfe hugged Sion tightly. "Sion, don't complement other women!" She whined
Sion looked at Ries and laughed.
"So what if I compliment another woman?" She asked
"I'll—I'll cry!" She whined
"Boohoo, cry me a river!" Sion teased
"I—I will!!!" She hissed
"Stop teasing Ries; she'll flood the manor with her tears." Saachin claimed
"The year is about to end. I can't believe it. Honestly, where are all the memories?" Kohaku asked
"In our heads, we've been through a lot, so we deserve to rest right now!" I said
"Yup," Hisui said softly.
"Sion I want to see fireworks!" Satsuki requested
"Fireworks huh?" Kohaku said softly
She called over the Mecha Hisui, and it landed in front of us. She had the mecha fly out and fire fireworks into the sky.
"Woah," Satsuki said as she looked at the beautiful colored lights filling the dark abyss of the sky.
Kohaku stepped towards me, and Hisui as well. They leaned on me.
"What are you two doing?" I asked
"Just chilling next to you, I want you to know that I love you," Kohaku said.
"I love you too!!" I cried out.
"We really are happy we are here with you right here," Hisui claimed.
"I'm happy that you are here with me to watch the year end!" I told them
"Everyone, the year is almost over!!!" Satsuki shouted
"How many seconds?" Ciel asked
"Thirty!" She said
We waited until the time was ten seconds before we began to countdown.
"Ten!"
"Nine!"
"Eight!"
"Seven!"
"Six!"
"Five!"
"Four!"
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
"Happy New Year!!!" We yelled
I felt both Hisui and Kohaku press their lips against my cheek on both sides, and I began to blush from their new year's kiss.
"Thank you!" I shouted loudly.
"No problem, let's enjoy the year!" Both Hisui and Kohaku chanted happily.
"Yes let's!" I calmly said
