Blood Within

Akiha pov: All we can do is wear Wallachia down and hold our own until Sion gets here.

"Damn it..." I growled as I noticed a cut on my face. I didn't even see them move.

"Akiha, are you okay?" Kohaku asks

I felt my cut, and I nodded, smirking, "It was a shallow cut." I laughed.

"Shallow? I'm sorry, I meant to kill you with that one shot, but it seems as if I didn't do it well enough."He laughs

"You aren't going to kill us!!!" I shout

I rushed Wallachia, kicking him in the face. He became a puff of smoke appearing behind me, and as he went to hit me, Mecha Hisui got in the way, blocking him.

"Didn't we say we'd have the mecha survey the battle first!?" Hisui asks

"Yeah, but still..." I mumbled

"Still?" Kohaku said

"Sorry... I was just thinking."

"Thinking what?" Hisui asked

"We need to beat him!" I said

"That's why we're here..." Kohaku said

"I know... but still, we need to beat him, and we can't beat him if we don't fight!" I said

"We know, but we can't beat him until Sion and Arcueid arrive; we need Arcueid at the very least!" Hisui said

"I know, but if we don't fight, we will die. You know that you are well aware that we will die if we don't battle. We have to do this because we aren't weaklings!!!"

Mecha Hisu turned its arms into flamethrowers and began to burn Wallachia. He began to scream in agony. I looked on and smiled at the incineration going on in front of me.

"You need to stop smiling!" Wallachi said to me that he had a giant, disgusting smile on his face.

"What the hell!?" I said

He ended up trying to stab me, but I dodged the needle-like projectile hurdled towards Kohaku, who blocked it with her concealed blade.

"Onee-chan!?" Hisui said as she manipulated her reality marble to pull Wallachia back a bit.

The vampire snarled and flew at us, but he quickly noticed that no matter how fast he went, he wasn't getting closer to us; he couldn't reach us, and that was due to Hisui and her reality: no matter how fast he goes, he isn't getting to us because we can make the distance between us infinite.

"You are scum!!!" He screamed

"Wrong..." I laughed.

I sent a blade of energy his way, cutting him, and as soon as it sliced through him, Mecha Hisui bashed into him, knocking him into the ground.

"You-You bastards!" He screamed

"You are the bastard!" Hisui said as she shot off another Dark Jade Fist off on Wallachia, it hit the vampire, and he fell to the ground, beginning to sink into it like quicksand.

"You are dying!!!" He shot out of the ground and shot a bunch of projectiles, even though we could maintain distance from him. Projectiles are a different story; he can make there be too many to handle. We were swarmed by bats, and he used this opportunity to go after Hisui.

"No, you don't!" Kohaku yelled

She got in front of her sister, taking a devastating closeline, being sent hurdling backwards, but landing on her feet.

"Are you okay, Onee-chan?" Hisui asks

"Yup," she said.

"Are you sure???" Hisui asks

"I'm a little hurt, but this is a fight," she claimed, noticing that Wallachia was trying to fly at her again but couldn't since Hisui applied her ability to him again.

"To hell with this!!!" He yelled

He tried to shoot bats at us, but ended up flying backwards, hitting him, and slamming him into the ground. He was being smothered by them, so he had to dissolve them.

"Heh..." I laugh.

"What the hell? What is so funny!?"

He seemed really angry; he seemed really upset, but then all of a sudden, it felt as if everything shifted.

"Are you three done sitting there doing nothing?" He asked

I realized that we were just standing there; none of this actually happened; it was just an illusion. He couldn't touch us due to the infinite distance, but he also didn't know we were in an illusion.

"We really don't have to worry." Kohaku said I looked at her confused. We don't have to worry.

"Why?" I ask.

"Listen up. We have to make sure we only fight when we are aware of what is going on. If he shows us any other emotion other than calm and collected, we have to assume it's an illusion." Kohaku claimed

"Why don't we have to worry, though?" I asked her, and she smiled at me, cracking her neck.

"Some of our attacks did go through up until the bats; he used us being blinded in order to fool us into an illusion." Kohaku said

"Ooh... smart!" I state

Wallachi laughed "You sure are smart!" He laughed more and more, and I decided to shut him up, rushing him and hitting him with a barrage of punches and kicks until...

"Gah!" I was pierced through by a giant blade that came out of his cape. Blood flew from my mouth, and I fell to the ground slowly.

"You really thought you had a chance?" He questioned calmly.

"Akiha!!!" Hisui and Kohaku yelled with concern, but I smirked at him and began to laugh.

"You forgot who I am," I said.

Using my hair, I stabbed him repeatedly, and it seemed to be leaving a lasting effect.

"I'm Tohno Akiha... I'm not a pathetic woman; I'm a strong demon! You need to understand that I'm not going to just sit her down and lose to the likes of you!"

"How are you alive?" He asked

"You should look closely," I said.

He did so, and he realized that his attack never penetrated through me fully due to my hair stopping it and pulling it away. The attack only shallowly entered me. "Now then it's time to die," I told him.
