Satsuki pov: It was finally nighttime, and the sun was setting, making the sky a beautiful orange color. It was time to prowl and get stronger for the next battle with Roa.

I ran around and disposed of many of the weaker vampires, but that wasn't enough.

"Freeze!" An executioner from the church yelled

I glared back and sighed. I also have to deal with them since I'm a vampire. I lunged at the man, and before he could react, I slammed his head into the ground, feeling a presence behind me. I turned around and jumped out of the way of the incoming keys.

"Yumizuka, you are out of your jurisdiction!" Ciel yelled

"Senpai, why do you care?" I'm doing your job; you can sit back and relax. I need to get stronger so I can end Wallachia!" I said

"Yumizuka, leave; that's an order!" Ciel screamed

I rolled my eyes at her and said, "You are telling me this after you just lost to Arcueid; give me a break!" I yelled

"Shut up!" Ciel screamed

Ciel pressed off the wall and shot at me with three keys. I'm each hand, and when she was close, she slashed at me. I bent back to dodge and reached out before she got grabbed. She front-flipped over me and then threw her keys.

I remembered this attack from when she first fought me, so I lunged forward and dodged.

"Ciel, are you a one-trick pony?" I mockingly asked

"Tsk, you weren't this strong before what happened!" Ciel yelled

"I wasn't sitting on my ass like you, Ciel!" I screamed

Ciel grinded her teeth together; she was furious. I used this time to run away, but I was met by a familiar face half way through.

"Ryougi?" I said it with confusion.

"Yup, I snuck out of the lab, Sacchin," she said.

"Why were you bored?" I asked

"Yes, I am just busy watching Shiki lose a mental battle against the same person over and over again; it's exhausting, so I figured you'd bring me more excitement." Ryougi said

"I'm just killing vampires trying to become stronger; it's not that exciting," I claimed.

"Nonsense, you've done nothing to bore me yet." Ryougi said

"You're too kind to me; after all, the original version of you wouldn't think like this; these are probably Shiki's thoughts leaking into you," I said.

"No, they aren't... Shiki constantly thinks about how boring you are, Sacchin. I want to watch you grow stronger; this is my want, nobody else's, so please let me witness it!" Ryougi said

She seemed genuine despite being a personality of Shiki made by him. Seeing her once, she seemed so different; she actually has manners and isn't trying to kill me.

"Okay, let's try to find Arcueid first," I said.

"How come?" Ryougi asked

"She should be looking into her sister's actions; she apparently has been on the prowl around here," I said.

"Oh, we are preparing for the worst, right?" Ryougi asked

"Correct, we are worried about how things will spiral," I said.

That isn't all we are worried about; we are worried about the enemy getting more troops; they already have quality, but we want them to have a low quantity of allies.

"Should we bring the battle to them?" Ryougi asked

I laughed but shook my head. "We aren't ready." I said, and Ryougi nodded.

"You seem more determined than ever before," Ryougi stated.

"Of course I need to be at my best in order to help Sion fight her father!" I said

"You are a good friend, you know that?" Ryougi asked

I smiled at those words. It was good to hear that she was really complimenting me today. "Yeah, thank you," I said.

"No problem!" Ryougi said cheerfully:

"Do you think I'll be able to really help take down Wallachia, or do you think I'll be in the way?" I asked

"You want my honest opinion?" She asked

"Yes, please," I replied.

"Sion and Riesbyfe trust you with their lives; that means something: you aren't weak; you are strong and dependable." Ryougi said

"Am I really, though?" I asked

"Yes, you are strong and dependable; you saved your friends more times than I can count!" Ryougi said

"Thank you!" I said happily.

Arcuied dropped down and walked towards me. "Hi," she said.

"Have you found any leads?" I asked

"Yes, I found some ghouls that have been bundled up into one place. I think it is like a pickup area," Arcueid said.

"So should we raid the area?" I asked

"Yeah, the three of us should be able to do so," Arcueid said.

"Please don't tell Kohaku I'm here." Ryougi said

"I legit don't care." Arcueid sighed

I laughed at how indifferent she was being right now. Then again, we are on the clock. The two of us followed her, and we made it to a large stadium-like area with an army of around three thousand or more ghouls.

"You have to be joking! How are there so many!?" I asked

"They came out of the groundwork, or they came from my home realm," Arcueid said.

"We must kill them all," Ryougi said as she pulled out her katana.

I nodded and lunged forward, launching into the middle of the ghouls. The force of my landing caused a mini earthquake in the area, and the ghouls flew into the air as the ground exploded.

"Who are you?" An old man asked me I didn't even sense their presence.

Arcueid landed, and her eyes widened in shock. "Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg!?" She yelled; her voice was between happy and angry.

"Ah, Arcueid, have you finally realized the fun of life while awake?" He asked

"Old man, why are you here?" Arcueid yelled

"For humanity..." Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg stated as he stroked his beard.

Arcueid sighed "Leave before my sister gets here," I said.

He shook his head. "Sorry, but I can't," he said.

Arcuied turned around and rushed him; she was going for the kill.
