Chapter 4: After

*Colbys POV*

"Does she have her phone?" Keeley asks me while standing at the door.
"Uhm.. Im not sure. I can go check f you want?" I ask
"Yes, She will go mental if she doesnt wake up to her phone being right next to her."

I chuckle lowly because honestly same.

"Okay, Okay. Ill go get it. Sam you can just stay here or do what ever Ill be back in a minute." I say while walking back to the elevator.

I got into the elevator and pressed the ground floor. I pulled out my phone and unlocked it with face ID. I opened up instagram and started scrolling through my tagged posts. I look at them sometimes just to see any edits that I might repost on my story and to see if any new rumours about relationships have started.

Rumours about relationships honestly piss me off. I cant have any girl friends without being shipped with them. Its honestly kinda annoying. I just cant be arsed with it to be fair.

The elevator door dings as it opens in the lobby of the apartment complex Eden and Keeley live in. I walk out to the car and check the windows and I see that Edens phone is in the car. I walk round to the front passenger side door and open it to get her phone. I pulled it out from the back seats and I felt like I was being watched. I didnt know which windows were Keeley and Edens apartment but I just found out.

I look up to find Eden staring at me and shes only wearing her underwear.

"What the fu.." I say to myself as she dives out of view.

I just walk back into the apartment building trying not to think about it. She couldve been standing there for a little while just daydreaming? I dont know. I dont wanna think too much into it.

I arrive back at the apartment and walk to Edens room. I knock softly and a few moments later Eden answers. Now in a large t-shirt.

I would like to see her in one of my shir-

No, Colby. Stop. Shes a friend. You dont think of friends that way.

"You forgot your phone in the car." I say. I hand her phone to her.

"Thanks." She says innocently.

I turn away from her. I start walking towards the door.

"You saw me didnt you?" Stops me right in my tracks.

"Yep." I say while turning back to face her. Shit this just got real awkward.

"Great knowing you but im going to go bury myself right next to where Richard did all of his satanic shit." She shot gun fingers towards me.

We both laugh at the awkwardness.

"But seriously I got to go. Sam is probably waiting in the car for me."

"Goodnight Eden." I say. I didnt realise it came out my mouth until I actually said it.

"Goodnight." She shuts her door and I walk away.

Before I leave I catch Keeley talking to Sam
"Sorry to interrupt, But can you keep a check on Eden? I think the ghost scratching her is gonna affect her a bit. I just dont want her to feel like shes alone with it." I say sincerely. I mean being touched by a ghost is traumatising but it drawing blood? Shit thats something more than a ghost. Thats something that actually wanted to harm the girls.

"Yeah sure. Ill text you how she is in the morning Colby." Keeley says with a short but sweet smile.

"Thanks Keeley. Have a good night."
"Yeah, Bye Keeley. We will arrange some time to meet again? For a meal maybe?" Sam questions.
