Its been 2 weeks since my dads funeral. 2 Whole weeks since we said our final goodbyes to him.

Shit was hard. These past 3 weeks since his passing have been so hard. Most days Ive just been sitting in bed crying.

Infact I was doing that right now.

I was looking at old photos os me and him together that my mom had posted on her facebook.

You never know what you got until its gone.

C: come over?

Colby texted me. Of course I wanted to see him. Ive been blowing him off for the past week. Not a good move is it?

E: yeah, sure ill be over in a bit i just have to sort myself out.

C: dont worry about it. Sam and Kat are at a hotel celebrating something so youve got nobody to impress here. but anyways ive already sorted you an uber. its outside.

I mentally scream at myself.

I quickly brush my hair and brush my teeth. I didnt even bother with make up. I just have had no motivation to do it.

I got my shoes on quickly and left. I was wearing a grey top with graphic writing on it saying new york, i was also wearing some black mid thigh cycling shorts.

We drove for a while until we got to Sam and Colbys house. I really just want to lay down and cry.

Colby opens the door before I even get out the uber and pay for it.

He runs up to me and gives me a huge hug.

"You okay Eden?" He asks

"Could be better." I say honestly.

"Come on. Lets go inside." He says putting his hand in mine and walking towards the grand front door.

We go to his living room and he pulls out a blanket and quickly leaves me to go to the kitchen.

I guess hes got a movie planned.

He comes back with a bowl of popcorn.

"What flavour is it?" I ask

"Salty obviously." He responds sitting down beside me pulling the blanket over us.

"Im gonna click surprise me on netflix and we are gonna watch the first thing that comes up. Okay?" he says

"Yep. Do what ever colby." I say

He went on netflix and clicked surprise me. Just our luck. 365 days comes on.

"For fucks sake. Just our luck." I say laughing.

"Ive missed that laugh." He says.

I blush at his words and look back down to my fingers. I needed infills on my acrylics but that can be sorted another time.

He pressed play on it.

The scene where massimo chains up Laura to a bed and makes her watch while another girl gives massimo head came on.

"This scene makes me cringe each time I see it." I say

"Yeah. This whole movie is a bit cringey." He replies.

I look at Colby. Just admiring his features. Shit he was fucking gorgeous. Like actually, no wonder he has so many teenage girls drooling over him.
