Its been a week since I found out who this Wren girl is. I searched her up on instagram. She hadnt posted in 7 years. The last picture uploaded was a picture of 2 hands being held together with the caption 'sober'. I wondered if she had just made a new account and it didnt have her name in it. I mean what 25 year old would have a social media account and not have their name in it. Maybe shes just not on social media at all anymore.
I wanted to ask Colby what she was like, Why they stopped dating jus questions like that.
Colby was out filming for hell week though in a whole other state. So it was just me and Kat in the house.
"Hey Eden!" Kat said coming into the living room. "Im ordering food, Want anything?" She asks sitting down on the couch next to me
"Uh, Where are you ordering from?" I ask, I like fast food but sometimes theres places that just dont do good food I like.
"Mcdonnalds?" She asks
"Yes! Ill just have 20 nuggets and fries. Ill pay you back for it." I reply
"No, no dont worry. Its fine. Its all on me." She says with a sweet smile. Did I ever mention I love Kats hair? Shes got the confidence I wish I could have.
"Hey Kat?" I ask.
"Hm?" She says tapping away on her phone
"Do you know who Wren is?" I ask.
She then stops tapping on her phone snd pauses for a moment. I was honestly just thinking did I break Kat?
"Uhm. Yeah, Why?" She responds looking at me. She looked confused.
"Oh. Uhm. Just wondering. Colby said her name in his sleep about a week ago." I say, Just trying to explain why I asked the sudden question
"Shes, Uh, She was a old girlfriend of Colbys. They were together in highschool." Kat says still looking at me.
"Yeah, I know that. Why did they break up?" I ask.
"You know? Its a lovely day outside isnt it?" Kat says changing the conversation.
"Kat.." I say dragging her back to the conversation
"Yeah..?" She says nervously
"Why did they break up?" I ask again
"I think its best you ask Colby about that, Or even Sam its not really my place to say." She says continuing tapping on her phone

Did they fight over a girl? Did she cause them to unfriend each other? Did some messed up shit happen?
"Alright. Ill ask Colby when he comes back." I say shrugging.

It was now night. I was in Colby and I's bed scrolling on different social medias.
I then started to try search up Wren Smith on the internet. Multiple articles came up. Some were from Chicago, UK, and Washington. I finally found one that was from Kansas.
'Wren Smith Foundation started by friends and family.'
The headline reads. I press onto the link and all it said was stuff about the foundation. They were still taking donations. I decided to just donate $100. I didnt know what had happened to her since I couldnt find anything that said why this foundation was started but I still wanted to donate.
I put my phone on charge and left it on the bed side table that was next to our bed. I made myself comfortable in bed and closed my eyes to try and sleep.
I couldnt. No matter how long I tried. I couldnt. I kept having thoughts race through my head, My mind wouldnt calm down.
My phone buzzed. I wanted to ignore the notification but something in my head was telling me not to.
I sat up in bed and pulled my phone to my face.
Colby: u up?
A message off of Colby. I think it wouldve been the time Sam and Colby finished their investigation.
Eden: yepp why?
I text back. My phone started ringing. It was a facetime call off of Colby.
I switched on the lamp next to the bed and answered the call.
"Hey babe." Colby said sorting himself out and standing up his phone.
"Hey. Why did you call me?" I ask.
"I got bored, and partly because I miss you." He said with a smirk.
"Gosh. How shocking. Colby Brock misses his girlfriend?" I say jokingly.
Colby laughs and picks up his phone and holds it infront of his face and sits back on the hotel bed.
"Yeah. I guess it is shocking." He jokes back. It earns a laugh off of me.
"What did you do today?" He asks
"Uhm. Did some cleaning up in our room, Read some of a book, Kat ordered food for the 2 of us, Did some digging.. Basic stuff." I shrug.
"Did some digging? What did you dig for?" Colby asks confused.
"I didnt dig up anything. I did some social media digging." I reply to him.
"So.. Who were you stalking?" He asks jokingly
"Nobody. Its fine, I didnt find anything." I state bluntly.
I yawn and I began to feel that my eyes were getting heavy.
"You look tired. Were coming back home tomorrow. Get some sleep Eden. I love you." Colby said
"Yeah, Okay. I love you too Colbs." I reply. I blow kisses through the phone and he hangs up.
This was the first time in a while I wasnt sharing a bed. It was all to me.
It felt weird. I turned off the lamp and put my phone back on the bedside table and shut my eyes.
I finally dozed off to sleep.
