After such a long mission, all Jeralt wanted to do was head back to the Academy and rest.

On his way to his room, he passed by the cafeteria and was stopped by (Y/N), his best friend and significant other. After long days like this, it was nice to meet up with them and maybe chat a bit, but this time, Jeralt just wanted to greet him and then head to bed. He was that tired.

"Jeralt, hey! Come join me!" (Y/N) shouted. They were seated by themselves at a table, eating some food, as you do.

"I'm good (Y/N), but thank you. I should head to my room. I'm pretty tired. Long mission and all," Jeralt muttered. He did sound tired.

"Well, that's one reason for you to eat, right? Don't you think? Come on, Jeralt. Lets get you something!"

Before they could fully get up, Jeralt stopped them, "I'd rather go to bed... But I wouldn't mind if you came."

It sounded so terrible aloud that Jeralt, embarrassed, blushed a little, but (Y/N) didn't mind.

(Y/N) smiled, "Sure. I'll come with you."

"This is nice."

"Yeah. It's all you need after a long day at work," (Y/N) said, sighing. He rested his hand on Jeralt's.

They were laying in Jeralt's bed together, enjoying a nice, quiet moment together, in peace. It was quite nice and it was all Jeralt needed right now.

"I wish I could do this every day," they said, chuckling.

"Well, we can't, but," the man wrapped one arm around his significant other, bringing them closer to him, "We can still enjoy the few moments like these that we get, right?"

"Of course," they yawned, and rested their head on Jeralt's chest.

Pressing a kiss on his forehead, they whispered a small 'I love you', but to their surprise, Jeralt had already fallen asleep in their arms. (Y/N) chuckled, and let themselves fall asleep as well.
