Hey y'all, how are you guys... It's... Hum... Yeah, it's been a while- a month, maybe a bit more than that?
Yeah, so, these past few weeks have been pretty busy, I had no time to write ANYTHING.

I came back with this oneshot, but no promises though- I don't know if I'll start posting regularly again. I think I've already told you guys that a while back. I'll try sticking to a oneshot every once in a while, and just see how it goes. That's also due to my 'finals' (I think that's how you'd call them in English) approaching soon.

Anyways, I don't want you guys to believe that I'm going to leave the Fire Emblem Fandom, or anything. I love writing oneshots and I love writing them for Fire Emblem, but I must confess, my eyes are starting to wander. I want to join other fandoms too (as I already said though: that doesn't mean I'm leaving Fe!!!!)

Yeah, I really need to find new fandoms to write for, because literally every fandom I'm trying to join is either dead or small. I'm in The Office fandom, I guess, but yeah, I need to join more 'hip' (excuse the language) and popular fandoms too 'cause I want to chat with others online more, roleplay, bathe myself in a billion of oneshots before people start criticizing me for being too old for fandoms :(

ANYWAYS, I don't want to explain to you guys my whole life story, but please, if you guys have any fun fandoms to recommend to me, please do!!! I'm bored out of my mind and I'm sick and tired of rereading the same oneshots because the fandoms I like are too small and have nothing (cough cough... The Godfather...).

"You poor thing..."

The bandits scattered- with food, medicine, and all- leaving behind a small, frightened child, in an empty house all by herself.

A man and a woman, dead, were laying upon the bloody floors- her parents surely, killed by the bandits who has come to ravage the home.

Lady Rhea thanked the Goddess that she had spared this child, who, despite it the major blood loss, survived the disaster.

"I will take you with me, and I'll make sure you'll never get hurt again, little one," the woman said, taking in her arms the small child.

She looked at her for some time, before she gravely said, "Your name will be... (Y/N)."

Time flew by fast- three years, to be precise- and (Y/N) had grown up to be a healthy child. She liked to play, but what she especially liked to do was stay by Lady Rhea's side.

Lady Rhea had taken the little girl under her wing and called her her own, which took some time for (Y/N) to get used to, but when she did, it was difficult for her to let go of her mother.

Something about her was so comforting to (Y/N), but she couldn't really pinpoint why. She just radiated kindness, safety and love.

"How about you stay with Seteth for today?"

"Why?" (Y/N) shyly asked, slightly disappointed that she'd have to stay away from her mother for the day.

"It's inspection day, darling, and I have to check in on the Black Eagles," her little daughter frowned, slightly confused, "You remember them, don't you? The girl with the white hair and the boy with the jet black hair? You really liked them, last you saw them."

"Oh! I remember! They were nice," her face lit up when she remembered the class. They were so sweet to her, but then she remembered that they were the reason she had to be separated from her mother. She became sad and frowned, "Do you really have to go?"

"Yes," Lady Rhea said, "But I promise I won't be too long."

"Can I come with you?"

"Darling..." Rhea sighed, "I promise I'll come back as soon as I can. Until then, you stay with Seteth, alright?"

"But-"

(Y/N) tried to retort, but as soon as she did, Lady Rhea gave her a light glare which quickly put her daughter back in her place. She quietly nodded and promised her mother that she'd just wait for her to come back.

One glance the other way was enough for her to run off, for as soon as Seteth turned his head back at where (Y/N) was supposed to be, she wasn't there anymore.

"Goddess, where did she run off to?"

It didn't take long for (Y/N) to find the room where her mother was in, and soon as she did, she jumped in her arms and began telling her everything she had done while waiting for her- completely forgetting about the fact that Lady Rhea was supposed to be inspecting the Black Eagles that day.

Lady Rhea let out an exasperated sigh, before sitting her down on her lap, "(Y/N), what did I tell you about bothering me?"

But the other students did not seem to mind. Some of them looked at the mother and daughter in awe, some even laughed- none of them seemed bothered in the least about (Y/N)'s presence.

"Seteth's boring!"

Some of the students started to really laugh and some couldn't help but agree: Seteth's wasn't really the best babysitter.

"(Y/N), that is not nice," she retorted, setting her daughter back on the ground, "What would Seteth think?"

"I don't care! I want to stay with you!" She hugged her mother again, "I love you, mommy!"

And for a moment, Lady Rhea completely forgot about (Y/N)'s rude comment, too stunned by her last few words- never had she heard her daughter say that to her.

"What did you say?" She breathlessly asked, almost in shock.

"That I love you! And I'll love you forever and ever!"

Rhea laughed- it was that especially hearty laugh that the students had never heard coming from her- They were astounded that the woman was capable of such a laugh, of such a wonderful laugh of pure joy.

For a moment, Rhea forgot where she was, forgot why she was doing what she was doing- She embraced her daughter, begging her to say it again, which (Y/N) gladly did.

Seteth fell upon the scene, but when he did, when he saw Rhea greeting her daughter so gladly with such a gleam in her eyes and with such a beaming smile, he couldn't help but let them be.

He knew what it was like, to be a parent with an overwhelming amount of love for their child.
