We met in an unsure situation.
Under very different condition.
You're looking for something that will last.
I'm someone who enjoys things until they last.

Yet, I fell so hard.
I'm pretty sure this love will leave a mark.
because it turned out we're both not ready.
We were slowly giving up already.

In every misunderstanding, we failed to compromise.
Cold shoulders and silent treatment are what we normalize.
Instead of growing close, we grew apart.
It felt like we were going back from the start.

Putting some distance between us
Avoid the things that should be discussed.
not mature enough to deal with it head on.
Sadness, doubts, and arguments are what come upon

We're still in the getting to know stage.
But most of the time, we are not on the same page.
Maybe we are not yet ready for each other.
We have to grow apart before we can be together.

Things might have turned out a little bit better
if we had met when we were a little bit older.
We would've been much braver
to take the risk of dating each other.
