Confusion's grip tightened its icy hold,
As my heart struggled to find a truth to behold.
Once, we shared a flame that burned so bright,
But time had dimmed its glow, leaving only night.
Now, from the ashes of a forgotten fire,
You emerged with words that sparked a new desire.
But fate had woven a different thread,
A tapestry of love where my heart was led.
In my present embrace, I had found my bliss,
A happiness that shattered your untimely kiss.
Like a fragile vase, my resolve began to crack,
As memories of our past came flooding back.
Yet, the love I shared now held my soul captive,
A beacon of light in a world gone deceptive.
With trembling hands, I gently pushed you away,
