Mabilis na lumipas ang mga araw na wala kaming ibang ginawa ni Roberto kundi ang magbakasyon at magtrabaho may mga araw na naiisip ko na masyado kaming masaya at natatakot ako na baka may kapalit ang bagay na iyon.

Kagaya nalang ngayon it's Christmas and we're having a celebration together with Roberto's family here in Manila. Everyone seems to don't like me because they never look at me nor talk to me but at least there's one or two people here who act civil towards me.

"Ate Christelle gusto mo ba ng seafoods?" Roan his younger cousin ask me.

Inabot nito yung platter ng seafood n malugod kong tinanggap. "Thank you Roan." Pasasalamat ko.

"So Christelle what does your family do?" One of his auntie just ask me out of the blue.

"I'm orphan Mrs Suarez, my parents passed away when I was in high school." I stopped eating and started looking at her. Mrs Suarez is sophisticated she wear this big hoops earrings and bangles and necklace in gold.

"Oh! Who raise you then?" I don't appreciate the tone she used but I keep myself as calm as possible pero mukhang hindi iyon ang gustong mangyari ni Roberto.

"Auntie! Don't be so rude!" Bulyaw ni Roberto sa galit na tono.

"Roberto!" I hissed at him but he didn't took a glimpse of me. Napako na ang tingin nito sa auntie nito na hindi naman maalis ang nanunuri at nanghuhusgang tingin.

"I was raised by my grandparents Mrs Suarez but they passed away after I graduated college." I answered her queries with politeness but she seems to not be satisfied.

"Anong kurso ang kinuha mo at saan ka nakagraduate iha?" Roberto's father seems to be manageable dahil maayos naman ang pagtatanong nito sa'kin. He is actually one of the person who act civil towards me.

"Nakapagtapos po ako sa kursong business management sa Wesleyan University at nag-masteral po ako sa Far Eastern University." Tumango-tango ang tatay ni Roberto, mukha itong na-satisfy sa isinagot ko.

"Nag-masteral ka na pala. So I assumed na may mina-manage kang negosyo or nagta-trabaho ka sa isang kumpanya?" Hindi ko alam kung mandatory ba na kapag nakapagtapos ka ng college na business ang course mo eh dapat nagma-manage or nagta-trabaho ka sa isang company but nevertheless I should answer his questions honestly.

"Just like Roberto, Sir I am managing my own company for quite some time now."

"What's your company name?" He ask curiously.

"I own and manage CRDL Empire sir." Lahat ay nagsinghapan dahil sa isinagot ko. Lihim akong napangiti ng malaki dahil dun. I am always happy with my achievements at maluwag sa loob kong ipagmamalaki iyon.

"CRDL Empire that's a big company I didn't know that the CEO is a girl " Hindi makapaniwalang ani ng isa sa mga tito ni Roberto na hindi ko na maalala ang pangalan dahil sa dami nitong pinakilala sa'kin kanina.

"Yes sir I was 19 when I manage CRDL, it wasn't an empire back then maliit lang po siyang company before but because of my hard work and the promise I made to my late grandparents I turned it into a big one." Mahabang litanya ko. Bigla ko tuloy naalala yung panahon na sobra akong nahihirapan sa company at gusto ko ng sumuko pero dahil sa pangako ko sa Lolo't Lola ko ay nagkakaroon ako ng lakas ng loob at tapang na gawin ang best ko.  At yun ang naging motivation ko para palaguin ang company namin.

"Do you believe in charity works ate Christelle?" Rolyn ask. Rolyn is Roan's younger sister they're the children of Mr and Mrs Suarez.

"I always do charity works naging tradition na namin ng parents ko ang mag-donate sa mga orphanage and hospitals para makatulong sa mga nangangailangan kahit na nung namatay yung parents ko ay ipinagpatuloy ko pa din ang pagtulong." I muttered.
