baby: you like it so..

baby: 🤷🏻‍♂️

me: I need to work on my hair

baby: then work on it
baby: but reminder its only 11 am

me: doing my hair is like an art project- requires time and effort
me: I can't work with you texting me constantly

baby: you don't have to respond

me: okay see you later

baby: oh
baby: I didn't think you'd listen
baby: see you at 5

I felt my lips curve upwards as my eyes read my lock screen that was lighting up from wanna's notification.

my finger clicked the power button, turning off my phone as my eyes focused on my reflection in my bathroom mirror.

doing my hair really did take a long time. having to wash it, then make sure its combed out well so that I can blow dry and straighten it.

but I might as well get started now especially since it'll take me close to 3 hours just on my hair.

my eyes scanned around the counter top with all of my hair products as I became slightly overwhelmed, just thinking about how busy today would be.

here goes nothing.

5 o'clock

holding onto my wrist, javon guided me into his bathroom-turning on the light with his opposite hand.

"I've never seen your hair straightened before." he admitted to me as I sat on his marbled bathroom counter. "it's pretty though, just different from what I'm used to."

I shook my head, refusing to start blushing this early on in the night. "thank you." I told him, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear.
