It Kinda Just- Happened, I Guess

What's He Doing Here?

"Hannie, I'll be back soon. Is everything ok with you?"

Jeonghan starts whining about me leaving him alone.

How is he older than me? He's cute tho, so it's ok I guess-

Sometimes I question our relationship. Yes, we're just really close friends, but it feels different every now and then.

- Time skip -

[Third person POV]

Joshua steps inside Jeonghan's villa, "Hannie! I have your coffee!"

He locks the door and looks around.

He doesn't see his friend anywhere.

Did he go to take a nap?

He walks up the steps to the kitchen and dining area, and then he sets the coffee on the dining table.

He calls for Jeonghan again, going upstairs to his bedroom.

No answer.

He's now standing by Jeonghan's bedroom door- he hears something.

Joshua puts his ear against the door.

"I really just don't know what to do anymore.... What if it doesn't work out?"

Who's Jeonghan talking to? What's he talking about?

Joshua started to get worried, but he didn't want to listen in on his friend's private conversation.

With that, he went back downstairs and sat at the dining table.

[Jeonghan's POV]

"I don't know why I'm so worried about this. I haven't felt like this about a photoshoot in years."

I sigh as I tell my boss, who also happens to be my friend, about my worries.

I'm so thankful to have a boss like Minghao. He's always told me and others at work about how important communication in the workplace is.

He's a saint, really. He listens to everyone's feedback and actually takes them into account, even if it's something that he might see as unimportant at first.

As I was talking to Minghao, I hear someone outside my bedroom door.

Is Joshua home already?

I soon end the call and go downstairs.

"Darling, sorry if I look long," Joshua says as he got out of his seat- getting closer.

I look at Joshua, smiling, as he holds my hands.

"Joshi, it's ok. Don't worry"

I bring him into an embrace, reassuring him that there's nothing to apologize for.

He pulls away slightly, "well then, here's your coffee. Hopefully it's still hot."

Soon after, Joshua and I went to sit in the living room.

We were talking, laughing, cuddling- you know- the usual.

Joshua is so comfortable and warm. He's like a teddy bear.

But of course, cuddling time got cut short.

Ugh whyyyyyyyyyy?

The doorbell rang and Joshua got up to check who it was, pushing me off of him carefully.

Was I expecting someone? Is it Seungkwan? No, it can't be- he has work.

I sat up, adjusting my shirt- well, it was Joshua's but still.

He's huge compared to me. While we're about the same height, he's buff. So his clothes are oversized and comfortable, just how I like it.

I heard Joshua greet someone, so I left the living room to check.

My eyes widened at who I saw at the door.

Junhui?!

I stood there, not saying anything, until, "hi Han."

Joshua motioned for him to come inside, and so he did.

It was awkward...... Really awkward....

Joshua tried to break the silence that went on for way too long. "So, what brings you here?"

Jun looks at me, "I need to talk to you- Jeonghan."

He paused, then looked at Joshua, "alone."
