[Third person POV]

As the morning sunlight filtered through the trees, and the birds chirped in the background, the atmosphere felt comforting and peaceful.

Seungcheol and Jeonghan were having breakfast together, they sat across from each other, sipping tea and enjoying the meal.

"Seungcheol... What are we?"

Jeonghan looked up at Seungcheol and couldn't help but wonder what his thoughts were.

Breaking the silence, Seungcheol cleared his throat. "Jeonghan, I may not know what we are yet, but I do know that I am happy to have met you."

His words made Jeonghan blush, and he felt a warmth in his heart that he couldn't quite explain.

There was something special about the way Seungcheol looked at him, something that made Jeonghan feel safe and content.

Before they could delve deeper into their conversation, they were interrupted by Chan.

"Dad! You're still eating? Oh come on! Eat faster!" Chan whined as he ran outside.

Seungcheol chuckled, rolling his eyes. "And why should we be in such a hurry?" he asked.

Chan grabbed Seungcheol's arm, "because The Legend of The Blue Sea marathon is starting in 5 minutes!"

"I don't think I've ever watched that," admitted Jeonghan.

Chan gasped, over-dramatically. "Even more of a reason to get up!" he exclaimed.

The two took their breakfast and headed inside to the living where everyone was seated.

Last night, since it was quite late, Chan suggested that everyone stay over.

Some slept in the guest room, while a couple slept in the living room.

"Wait, where's Jun?" Asked Jeonghan.

"He went outside to take a call."

Just then, as if on cue, Jun walked inside the mansion, holding a bouquet.

Minghao stood up and walked over to his friend. "What's this?" he asked, confused.

Jun shrugged, "I found it outside by the main gate."

Minghao took the bouquet and looked at it closely. As he was examining it, he found a note.

The note read; "this isn't a gift asking for forgiveness, it's my final goodbye. Sincerely, W."

Jun immediately took the bouquet, reading the note, not believing what he just heard.

"Wonwoo- what did you do-" Jun muttered to himself, his voice trailing off.

He ran out to his car, Minghao following him, excusing himself from the rest of the group.

Joshua got up from the couch and picked up the bouquet.

"These are from my shop. I'm the only flower shop in the city that has these orchids," he remarked, looking at the note with concern.

Jeonghan walked over to Joshua and took the flowers. He read the note, feeling a sense of dread wash over him.

"This whole thing is a mess," he muttered to himself, wondering what was going on.

- Time skip -

Several hours had passed.

Jeonghan was now at home, leaning against the kitchen counter and eating ice cream. He stared absentmindedly at the fridge, lost in thought.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

"Seungcheol?"

He answered the phone.

"Yeah, I can facetime. Hold on."

He grabbed his ice cream and went to the dining table.

He sat down, propping up his phone.

"Hi, Cheol."

"Angel, I just wanted to check up on you. How are you feeling?" Seungcheol voiced his concern, making Jeonghan's heart flutter.

"I'm ok, I guess. What about you?"

Jeonghan ate his ice cream. He looked at his phone- looking at Seungcheol- he seemed... Off...

"Cheolie?"

Seungcheol stopped talking and looked at Jeonghan, upon hearing the nickname.

"Yeah?"

Jeonghan set his ice cream aside. "Can you come over?"

Seungcheol nodded.

They hung up the phone and Jeonghan got up and went to his room.

Jeonghan quickly changed into a clean shirt and checked his appearance in the mirror.

He felt a little nervous about Seungcheol's visit, but he couldn't quite put his finger on why.

They've been hanging out together here and there, yes, but Seungcheol never came over to Jeonghan's house.

As he made his way back to the living room, he heard a knock at the door.

He took a deep breath and opened it, revealing Seungcheol on the other side.

"Hey," Seungcheol greeted him with a warm smile.

"Hey," Jeonghan replied, feeling his cheeks flush.

Seungcheol stepped inside and looked around. "Nice place you have here."

Jeonghan nodded, feeling his nerves start to settle. "Thanks. Would you like something to drink?"

"Sure, I'll have whatever you're having," Seungcheol said, following Jeonghan into the kitchen.

Jeonghan poured two glasses of water and handed one to Seungcheol.

The two sat in silence for a while. Seungcheol looking out the window, while Jeonghan was on his phone.

"You've got a really nice view from here." Seungcheol says, still looking out the window.

Jeonghan hummed, looking at Seungcheol. "Yeah- I do, don't I?" Jeonghan stared at Seungcheol, watching how fascinated he was by the trees and flowers outside.

Jeonghan felt himself melt as he looked at Seungcheol. So much so, that he didn't notice the older looking back at him.

Seungcheol ruffled Jeonghan's hair. "How cute~"

Jeonghan blushed.

The two looked at each other for a while before Seungcheol decided to break the tension, kissing Jeonghan.

Jeonghan wrapped his arms around Seungcheol. "Cherry chapstick? Wear it more often, it's great" said Seungcheol, making Jeonghan kiss him again. "For you, I will."
