[Third person POV]

It was another work day for Seungcheol.

It was a cloudy Wednesday morning. And after checking the weather on his phone, it seemed like it was gonna rain later. So, he decided to wear his favorite trench coat to keep dry during his commute to work.

It was almost 7am, and he didn't have anything till 11am; a meeting. So for now he decided to go to Campfire Cafe for a while.

When he got there, he saw that Seungkwan and Vernon were working that morning.

He was still suspicious of Vernon, but he let that thought go after he ordered his usual coffee and croissant.

He sat down at a corner table, and started checking his text messages.

Suddenly, Seungkwan's cheerful voice interrupted his concentration.

"Hannie!" Seungcheol looked up to see Seungkwan and a stranger hugging by the counter.

Seungkwan then turned to the man and said, "How's my favorite person doing~?"

Seungcheol was surprised to see that the stranger was Jeonghan.

Wait- they know each other?

He observed their interaction, trying not to make it obvious that he was eavesdropping.

They're friends aren't they? Damn we're more connected than I thought.

"Babe, I'm just gonna take this call, ok? I'll be back in a sec." He heard Vernon say, walking out of the cafe.

He couldn't help but be suspicious again.

But, yet again, his thoughts were interrupted by a loud Seungkwan.

"Here, sit down. I'll get you your usual, Hannie."

He pulled up a chair at the table beside Seungcheol.

He was sitting facing him

They made eye contact, both looking away quickly after.

Damn this is awkward....

Seungkwan then brought Jeonghan's order.

For now both were preoccupied with their breakfast, but still glanced at each other here and there.

As they were eating, it started to rain.

Seungcheol noticed that Jeonghan didn't have a coat with him, and he was only wearing an oversized hoodie and ripped jeans.

Seungcheol thought that Jeonghan looked adorable, but also worried that he might get sick in the rain.

He saw Jeonghan walk out, after saying goodbye to Seungkwan.

"Hannie, stay warm! Get home safely."

He gave Seungkwan a smile back, and Seungcheol couldn't help but smile to himself.

Damn, he's so cute.

Seungcheol soon finished his breakfast and headed out of the cafe.

He went outside after buttoning up his coat.

He was walking to his car, when he noticed Jeonghan standing in the rain, calling someone.

He looked frustrated and cold.

It wasn't raining too heavily, but it was definitely going to, soon.

Seungcheol decided to approach him.

"Jeonghan, do you need a ride?"

Jeonghan looked up from his phone.

"Oh- Seungcheol- um it's ok, I'll be fine."

Seungcheol could see that Jeonghan was shivering, and he didn't want him to get sick. "You're shivering. Are you sure? It doesn't seem like the rain is going to clear up anytime soon," Seungcheol insisted.

Jeonghan blushed slightly, "I don't wanna trouble you."

"It's no trouble at all- here-" Seungcheol took off his coat and put it on Jeonghan's shoulders. "Come on, my car isn't far from here."

Jeonghan smiled, blushing even more, and followed Seungcheol to his car.
