Third Person
Jisoo and Rosie approached the entrance of Jisoo's apartment building, and each of them carried the last boxes filled with her stuff. Finally, after hours of packing and organizing, the move is almost complete. Just a few more floors to go and they would be able to call it a day.
"So this is it, you sure you got everything, Jisoo?" Rosie asked, adjusting her grip on the box. "You should have packed your mom and dad too, I think you brought everything you can bring from home," Rosie added with a chuckle.
"I only packed a few, what do you mean?" Jisoo replied raising an eyebrow.
"You call this a few? How many times did we go back and forth from your house? Too many times to count," Rosie laughed.
Jisoo pouted and retorted, "It's just all my stuff, I even stopped myself from bringing more."
"Why didn't you just hire people to do this for you?" Rosie asked adjusting the box on her hand.
"Why would I hire people, when I have you?" Jisoo replied with a smirk drawn on her face. Jisoo moved a little closer to Rosie and playfully nudged her shoulder. "Those muscles of yours really came in handy today," she added with a wink. Rosie felt her cheeks blush and playfully nudged Jisoo back, covering her fluttering heart with an eye roll.
"Oh please Jisoo, you owe me big time for this," Rosie said and pursed her lips trying to hide her smile, looking at the elevator's floor numbers as they ascend.
"What? Didn't enjoy today? I mean it's fun!" Jisoo teased and turned to look at the floor numbers flickering above the elevator doors. "I had fun," Jisoo added unaware of how her words affect Rosie's heartbeat.
"Me too," Rosie replied softly, gripping the box tightly. The elevator dinged as they reached their floor, and the doors slid open, breaking the brief silence between them.
Jisoo motioned Rosie to step out of the elevator first, "I-I'm thinking of getting my own place too." Rosie said while walking in the hallway of Jisoo's new apartment building, trying to change the subject.
"Really?" Jisoo glanced at Rosie and punch the code into the keypad to unlock her new apartment.
"You think it's a good idea?" Rosie asked as she entered the apartment, setting the box down on the floor.
"Hmm, do you really want to have your own place now?" Jisoo asked back scanning the boxes scattered throughout her living room.
"I don't know, maybe?" Rosie lazily slumped herself on the couch with a sigh.
"Then start looking for a place, and when you feel like you're ready, then go for it," Jisoo replied joining Rosie on the couch, their head resting on the backrest, looking at the ceiling.
"So, what's your plan?" Jisoo shrugged and replied, "I'll probably take some time to settle in and get everything organized here." glancing at the boxes around the room and turn to Rosie with a mischievous smile, wiggling her eyebrows.
Rosie playfully glared at Jisoo, reading what exactly running through her mind from those eyes. "Ya, you're not going to convince me to help you unpack all these boxes too, are you?"
Jisoo chuckled and said, "Well, I wasn't planning on asking, but since you offered..." Rosie's eyes met Jisoo's eyes down to her lips, "Damn it!" she mentally scolded herself. Abruptly, Rosie averted her gaze and bit her smile back, and playfully swatted Jisoo's arm, trying so hard to stop the butterflies in her stomach from getting out of control.
"You owe me big time for this," she mumbled sitting up straight on the couch and regaining her composure.
"I'll help you when you move to your own place, how about that?" Jisoo responded as she got up from the couch and hold out a hand to Rosie.
