Phil's POV:

I put my empty bowl in the dishwasher and pour myself a glass of water.

I can't hear Dan or Y/n now. They must be asleep. Or in Dan's case, on Wikipedia or Tumblr.

I roll my eyes and smile softly. I gulp down the last of my water, leave the kitchen, go to my room, and grab my laptop.

I open Tumblr and check the AmazingPhil tag. I do this most nights. It's relaxing, okay?! Plus, it makes me laugh. Most of the time - some things on there are just terrifying.

I chuckle quietly as I see my head photoshopped onto a cat's body on the screen.

I yawn and put my laptop down, turning off my light and falling into a whirlpool of dreams.

*next day*

Dan's POV:

I open my eyes slowly, taking in the familiar surroundings of my room.

I hear deep breathing next to me, and I look over to see Y/n, curled up next to me. Her arm is draped over my chest, and her head is in the space between my shoulder and my head, next to my neck. I don't flinch this time though. I think I'm used to her touching my neck.

She's still wearing my hoodie, and still looking totally adorable. I run my hand through my hair.

Unsurprisingly, it's curly. I inwardly sigh. I take my mind off my hair and focus on Y/n, looking at her fondly, and hoping not to get caught.

That would be awkward... well, only a little bit.

As if on cue, her eyelids flutter open and she blinks a few times, before looking at me.

"Good morning," she says, her voice still husky. She reaches up to ruffle my hair.

"Hello. Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, it's actually the first time I've slept well in ages," she replies.

"Me too, to be honest. Maybe we were made for sleeping together," I say, winking at her, trying to be seductive and failing miserably.

She picks up a pillow and hits me on the side of the head with it. "Shut up, you."

I laugh at her and she gets out of bed, kissing me quickly on the lips and straightening up again - or trying to, at least.

I put my arm around her waist quickly and pull her back down to kiss her once more. She kisses me back, pulls back a few seconds later and stands up.

"Naughty," she teases, booping me on the nose and suppressing a smile as she walks out to the bathroom. I hear the shower turn on a few minutes later.

Phil's POV:

I rub my eyes sleepily, grabbing my glasses off the table, standing up and looking in my mirror. My black hair looks like a bird's nest, my eyes are red and my skin is paler than ever.

Great, just great. I sigh and go to the kitchen to get some cereal.

*le chewy chewy time (idk don't judge me xD)*

Once I've finished, I put my bowl in the already over-loaded dishwasher and walk out, nearly walking into Y/n, who has wet hair, and a towel around her shoulders.

"Sorry," I mumble, walking past her into my room.

She follows me and grabs my hand to make me stop, which makes my heart thud. Oh no, not again. I can't like her!

I pull my hand away hurriedly to subdue the butterflies in my stomach.

"Phil, are you okay? You're not seeming like yourself recently," she says softly, her e/c eyes showing concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I say, feeling myself blush. I turn around again and almost run into my room.

I slam the door and flop down on my bed, running a hand through my knotted hair.

All these stupid feelings... I thought I had gotten rid of them. Ugh. I have to get out of here.

I jump up and shower quickly, washing my hair. Next I blow dry it, straighten it and begin to get dressed.

I choose my normal pair of black skinny jeans and a Pokémon tshirt.

I rummage through my sock drawer and pull out the first two I get; stripey pink and black, and then black with a yellow edge.

I slip them onto my feet, pull on my shoes, grab my coat and walk out of the flat.

*le time skip*

I stroll around the park, breathing in the cool air. Despite it being almost summer, London is still cold.

At times like this, I wish that I lived somewhere warm, like Australia. But then again, I don't. I love London, and I don't think I could ever bear to leave it.

BAM!

I walk straight into a tree trunk, the pain exploding in my head. I clutch it and bend over, clenching my eyes shut. I can already feel a lump starting to form on my forehead.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" a female voice says from behind me.

I straighten up quickly and get a stabbing pain in my head as a reward. I almost fall over from the pain.

Suddenly, a warm hand grips my arm, steadying me.

I open my eyes and find myself looking into a pair of pretty forest green eyes. I study them, noticing brown and blue flecks in the irises.

I realise that I'm staring when she coughs awkwardly.

"Oh, uh, sorry... that tree just appeared there, I swear!" I exclaim, standing up straight, slowly this time, and smiling sheepishly.

She chuckles, her eyes crinkling up. Her expression goes serious again as she looks at my head. "You're bleeding!"

"I- I am?" I say quietly, feeling my forehead cautiously. Sure enough, I can feel warm liquid. It's only a little bit, though, luckily.

"Yeah," she replies. "Can I have a look?"

I nod and walk over to the bench nearest to us. We both sit down, and she shuffles closer to me, raising her small hands to my fringe, to move it out of the way. She gasps.

"What?" I begin to panic.

"It's all bruised and lumpy. There's blood in your hair..." she replies. She bites her nails for a moment, thinking.

Then she looks frantically through her bag, pulling out a padded plaster, which looks like a bandage, but smaller. I raise my eyebrows at her in astonishment.

"It's for emergencies," she briefly explains, shrugging.

She peels the paper off the back and applies it to my forehead gently. I wince a little, but I don't say anything.

"There you are," she says, smiling.

"Thanks..." I say gratefully, smiling back. I cover the plaster up by readjusting my fringe.

I pause in thought. "Could I maybe get you a drink or something? We could go for coffee."

She pulls her hoodie sleeves over her hands and gives me a small smile.

"Sure."
