Chapter 18

"You're back from being suspended?" You question in an irritated tone. She stares at you for a bit and then she looks down at your neck. 

"Aw... did you fail another suicide attempt?" She gibed pointing at your neck. You furrow your eyebrows touching your neck in confusion.

"Was that supposed to be funny?" You ask.

"Yah- I just love how pathetic a suicidal girl is..." She replies."Stupid slut" she mutters under her breath. You clench your first and furrow your eyebrows.

"What the hell did you call me?" You reply slowly approaching her.

"Yuki... What are you doing here?" Ren interrupts. You slowly look at him with an irritated look on your face.

"You're going to let her talk to me like that?" You ask. Ren sighs and puts down his paint brush. 

"Why are you here Yuki? You didn't even come to school today... yet you're here... So, what is that you want?" Ren asks, looking at you.

"Skipping school... tch... I didn't think the model student would be stooping that low for some gang leader-" Ayame comments.

"What? How did you know about that?" You ask looking at Ayame.

"I told her." Ren replies.

"Why?" You ask, squinting your eyes at Ren.

"Because- It's true... is it not?" Ren answers.

"What the-" You start.

"Ugh. Can you leave?" Ayame grunts. You glare at her and then sigh.

"I came here to talk to you" you say to Ren, ignoring Ayame. Ren stays still and then he turns to look back at his painting.

"No one wants to talk to you..." Ayame says. You slowly look at her and then back at Ren.

"Are we going to talk or are you going to be petty?" You ask. Ren doesn't respond. You sigh starting to walk up to him but Ayame stops you. 

"Leave... He clearly doesn't want to talk to you." She scoffs. You furrow your eyebrows and then you look at Ren. He doesn't look at you. You slowly nod and turn around walking out the art room.

"What a fucking lame..." she snorted, slowly walking back to her seat and continues to draw.

You walk away from the art room feeling way worse than you did before. Ren gets up from off his seat.

"Yuki!" Ren shouts out. You continue to walk down the hall ignoring him and heading to the exit of the school. Ren runs up to you, grabbing your arm, causing you to turn around. You pull your arm away and glare at him. "I'm sorry for acting like that..." He says.

"Yeah... whatever." You say, turning back around and walking out the school. Ren follows behind you and grabs your arm again. You yank your arm away and you look at Ren. "What?" You question. 

"What was it you wanted to talk about?" Ren asks.

"Nothing now." You answer, walking away again.

"Yuki- you came for a reason. So just tell me." Ren says. You stop walking and then you sigh.

"Why are you still friends with her after what she did to me? I thought you were going to cut her off." You ask, turning around to look at Ren.

"Did you sleep with those Toman guys?" He asks completely ignoring your question. You furrow your eyebrows in confusion.

"What? Why are you even asking that?" You ask.

"Nothing... Never mind." Ren sighs turning around.

"No... Why did you ask me that?" You question.
