Chapter 72

You and Chifuyu sit in the room with Baji while he folds his clothes. He sighs and tosses a pair of shorts to the side and glares down at both of you.

"What is it now...?" He asks.

"Huh?"

"Heheh..." Chifuyu awkwardly laughs as he scratches his head.

"Every time you both come here and sit stupidly like that... it means somethings up..." He sighs and tilts his head a bit. "I know you both are up to something. So, what is it?" He huffs.

"You're standing a lot more... I just realized." You randomly say. Baji slowly turns to look at you then sighs. He sits back down on his bed and rubs his legs.

"Yeah- well I still can't walk very well." He quickly looks at the both of you and sighs. "Please don't tell anyone that I can walk... No one knows except for you both."

"Why do you not want anyone to know?" You calmly ask.

"If people find out... you'll never know what they would do."

"Do you still think people are after you, Baji-san?" Chifuyu asks as he adjusts himself a bit. He's sitting with both his feet touching together, making an oval shape with his legs. Baji folds another pair of pants and then slowly nods.

"Yeah. The only reason why they haven't bothered to mess with me is because they believe I can't physically move." He states. You slowly nod.

"I agree. That makes a lot of sense."

"Anyways... What is it that you both want- Why are you both here so fucking early... the sun isn't even up yet..." He sighs.

"What's the deal with the Black Dragons?" Chifuyu asks. Baji stops folding clothes and then continues.

"Where did this come from? You aren't getting yourself involved in anything, right?" He asks, looking back at the both of you. You both stare back at him. "Right?" He asks again, narrowing his eyes. You both stay quiet which makes him take a deep breath and go back to folding clothes. "Whatever... What exactly do you want to know?"

"Do you know about their leader?" Chifuyu asks.

"Yeah... Taiju Shiba. He's Hakkai's older brother-" He replies.

"So, you've heard about him?" You ask.

"Yeah... somewhat- but not much. Why?"

"Has the Black Dragons always been like that?"

"Been like what?" Baji asks, looking down at you.

"Have they always been aggressive like that?"

"No- they haven't..."

"Then what happened?" Chifuyu asks, placing both his hands on his feet.

"I don't know-" Baji slowly says, furrowing down at the pile of clothes. "Mikey's older brother was the one who founded the Black Dragon."

"Right..." Chifuyu softly says and slowly nods.

"Yuki... have you heard about Shin? Mikey's older brother?" He asks, looking back at you.

"Yes... somewhat." You slowly say.

"Well... I looked up to Shin a lot. He was one of the reasons why I wanted to create Toman." He softly says. "He's a really cool guy... He made being a delinquent seem so cool... So, us- founding members, Mikey, Mitsuya, Pah, Draken, Me and... Kazutora wanted to make a new era for delinquents. Like how Shin did... but- as you can see that didn't happen." He sighs.

"You don't think it will ever happen?" You ask. Baji slowly shakes his head.

"No. I don't. Toman isn't how it used to be. Everything about it goes against everything I believed in, and I still believe it's Kisaki's doing." He sighs. He slowly looks at the both of you. "Like the Black Dragons... they had changed suddenly one day. After a few generations they became something completely opposite then what Shin had made them out to be."
