"Forgetting the past"

Side story

"Man ja... Did you trust me?" She said. Man Ja nodded. "Just close your eyes and take this medicine that I made... When you open your eyes, you will feel better..." She said. "Arasso, Eonnie... But promise me that you will still here when I wake up.." Man Ja said in her weak voice. Eon Jin nodded as she smile and take Man Ja's little hand, "I promise..." She said. "Oppa... Please take care of Eon Jin Eonnie while I'm asleep..."Man ja said to her brother Man Bok. Man Bok smile as he nodded.

"Young lady, Is it safe for her to drink that? Are you a doctor?" Man Bok asked. He's so worried to his little sister. "Man Bok is right, Lady Eon Jin this is not your little playground to play." Tae Pyung said. Eon Jin look at them with her teary eyes, Tae Pyung's heart soften. "Maybe I'm not a doctor but I promise it will heal your sister." She said to Man Bok. "You may step outside..." Wol Sook said. Man Bok and Tae Pyung went outside the door.

"Lady Eon Jin... Are you sure about this? If your father will know about this, he will get mad.." Wol Sook said. Eon Jin look to Man Ja, "Don't worry... He will never know about this." She said.

Man Ja get sleepy when she drink the medicine herb tea that Eon Jin made. This medicine made to get the person sleep. When Man Ja seems that she's already asleep. Eon Jin lay her hand on her little chest where her heart is located. Eon Jin close her eyes as she start to heal her. Wol Sook see that Man ja is slowly changing the color of her lips from pale to pinkish. Her body started to gain weight while Eon Jin started to sweat all over her face and her lips become pale and dry. "Lady Eon Jin.." She murmured and got worried for her.

Eon Jin feel that Man Ja is finally healed. She open her eyes and she smile when she saw Man ja's face. "Lady Eon Jin, are you okay?" Wol Sook said as she immediately approach her. Eon Jin nodded. Man Bok and Tae Pyung immediately open the door when they see a light inside. "What's happening?" Tae Pyung asked.

They're eyes widen when they saw Man ja. Man Bok immediately approach his little sister and got shocked when he feel her so warm and her face is look okay. "She's fine... She will wake up in an hour..." She said. Man Bok cried and bend her knees infront of Eon Jin. "I don't know how did you know my sister, but Thank you so much for your kindness, Young lady." Man Bok cried. Eon Jin immediately pull him up, "It's okay... You don't need to do this... Please stand up.." She said. Eon Jin smile. "Man ja and I are we're friends... That's why I'm willing to risk my life just to save her." She said. Man Bok let out a smile. "I will do anything to repay you, Young Lady..." He said. Eon Jin feels that her body becomes weak butbshe try to hide it. "There's one thing I want you to promise me... Please don't tell this to anyone.." She said. Tae Pyung look at her and he notice that she didn't feel well. Eon Jin walk and went outside the door and Wol Sook follow her. Eon Jin stop and her vision got blurry, "Lady Eon Jin... Eotteoke..." Wol Sook said as she hold her.

Tae Pyung went outside when he heard Wol Sook's voice. He got shocked when he saw Eon Jin collapse and fall on Wol Sook's arms. "Lady Eon Jin..." He said. "What happened?" He asked. Wol Sook look at him. "Can I trust you, Your Highness?" Wol sook said. Tae Pyung look at her with puzzlement. Tae Pyung carry Eon Jin and he was about to ride on the horse but Wol Sook stop him. "Just lay her down in a vacant room here, Your Highness... She can't go home like that..." Wol Sook said. Tae Pyung look at Eon Jin's face who still unconscious.

Present day

Tae Pyung is on the bridge waiting for Lady Sora but his mind is thinking someone else. He keeps on thinking about what happened on a small shelter last week.

Flashback

"I know it's a rude of me, Your Royal Highness... But I'm willing to take my punishment later just to make sure Lady Eon Jin is safe." Wol Sook said. Tae Pyung look at her and he return his eyes to Eon Jin. "What is it?" He said. "Can you please stay on her side while I'm away. I need to go back in her house and take her medicines.." Wol Sook said. Tae Pyung got confused, "You don't need to leave her here alone, don't worry I'll send her home." He said. "Please don't! If her father found out about her condition today, General Son will get mad and scold Lady Eon Jin." Wol Sook said. "Why? Is there any problem on her condition? I noticed after she treated Man ja, she suddenly became weak and pale." He said. Wol Sook gulped and avoid his eyes. "She's sick before we went here and I forgot to bring her medicine, that's all." Wol Sook lied. Tae Pyung look at Eon Jin who is lying in the bed and still unconscious.

End of Flashback

"Your Royal Highness..." Lady Sora called but Tae Pyung still staring blankly ahead. "Your Royal Highness..." She called him once again and this time Tae Pyung notice her. "Are you okay? It seems your thinking about something?" Lady Sora said. Tae Pyung let out a small smile. "Nothing..." He said. "Anyway, why you wanted to see me? Chief Eunuch told me that there's something important you wanted to tell me?" Tae Pyung said. Lady Sora let out a wide smile. "Yes... And I miss you, Your Royal Highness..." Lady Sora said. Tae Pyung smile and hold her hand, "me too... I miss you..." He said.

They seated on one of the rock formation near the falls. "My father registered my name in the selection process for the Crown Princess position." Lady Sora said excitedly. Tae Pyung got surprised and at the same time he's happy to heard that news. "Really?" Tae Pyung said. Sora happily nodded. "I'll promise to give my very best to be your Crown Princess, Your Royal Highness... So that I can stay by your side forever." She said. Tae Pyung smile and hold her hands. "Even your not the Crown Princess, I'll stay by your side..." Tae Pyung said as he smile. Lady Sora let out a wide smile. "And I know we're destined to be together... That's why we met in the forest before. You save me without any hesitation...." Tae Pyung said. Sora smile slowly faded. "Your Royal Highness...." She said. Tae Pyung look at her, "Waeyo?" He asked.  Sora let out a deep sigh before she speak. "Can we... Forget about the forest... I mean about what happened to the forest before?" Sora said. Tae Pyung frowned as he look at her. "Why? For me, it's fate that I lost that day and you found me..." He said. "But.." Sora said and recalled what happened that day. "But it's trau-traumatic for me..." She lied. Tae Pyung look at her but Sora look away as she trying to avoid his eyes. "I'm sorry... I didn't know..." He said. He hold her hand and then he smile. "I'll understand... Arasso... I will never bring that topic again..." He added. Sora smile widely as she hug Tae Pyung.

'let's forget the past, Tae Pyung.... We must forget about it for us to stay like this...' In Sora's mind.
