CHAPTER FORTY ONE

"In Your Arms"

Tae Pyung caress her face. "Eon Jin... I'm here..." He whispered. "What happened, Wol Sook?" He asked. Wol Sook couldn't speak. She wants to tell him about Eon Jin's condition but she was so afraid that it will put Eon Jin in danger. "Your Royal Highness.... I'm sorry but I couldn't tell you the full details but the Crown Princess needs right now." Wol Sook said. Tae Pyung look at her. "Wol Sook... I'm her husband and I have a right to know what's happening to my wife." Tae Pyung said. "I know there's something going on right now-" He said but he stop when he heard Eon Jin is whispering.

"Tae Pyung..." Eon Jin whispered. Tae Pyung reach her hand. "I'm just here, Eon Jin..." He whispered and kiss her on her forehead. Wol Sook look at them. "Your Royal Highness.... I know It's painful to see that she's suffering like that but I assure you, it will pass when the morning come." She said. Tae Pyung look at her as he trying to understand what she wanted to say. "I have no rights to discuss you the details on what happening to the Crown Princess, but I'm hoping that when she's ready to tell you about it, you will going to protect her at all cost, Your Royal Highness..." Wol Sook said. "What do you mean?" He asked. Wol Sook look at to Eon Jin who still unconscious. "I don't know why Minister Woo Sung knew her condition tonight but trust me he also didn't know the main reason why the Crown Princess is sick right now." Wol Sook said.

"I'll take my leave now, Your Royal Highness... If you need anything I'm just standing outside..." Wol Sook said. She was about to leave when she take another look to Eon Jin.

When Wol Sook left, Tae Pyung look at his wife as he wiping her face with white wet cloth. "Eon Jin... I don't know what's happening to you right now, but I just want to let you know that you can trust me.... You can share your burden to me... Whatever it is, I'm willing to risk my life just to protect you..." He whispered. He seated beside her and wrapped his arms to Eon Jin and he let her rest her head on his chest. "Did I look so obvious? I thought  he knows everything about you and that's what makes me so jealous, Eon Jin.." Tae Pyung said. "What Wol Sook said, it makes me feel at ease, knowing that there's still something about you that he still doesn't know. Eon Jin, I also want to be your protector just like him for you... Please allow me too..." He said and kiss her hand. He notice that her hand is so warm right now unlike when he touched it a while ago.

Meanwhile, Physician Kwon is on his room when he notice the moon. He suddenly remember the only lady who captured his heart and the only reason why he's a physician now, Lady Eun Myeong, the grandmother of the Crown Princess.

She's older than him, but they we're bestfriend in their younger days. Years passed by when they fall inlove with each other but fate never allowed them to be together. Lady Eun Myeong is from a wealthy family but Physician Kwon is only a commoner that time. Ln Lady Eun Myeong was forced to marry a noble man and she was force to cut her ties to physician Kwon because of it.

He maybe not owned her physically but her heart and everything about her is only for him.

That's why he decide to stay in the palace, for Eun Myeong's granddaughter, Princess Eon Jin. When he first saw Eon Jin, he remember how Eun Myeong is a kindhearted and bubbly lady. And he was so surprised when he learned that Eon Jin is the granddaughter of Eun Myeong. For physician Kwon, maybe he failed to protect Eun Myeong before but now, he promise that he will going to protect her one and only granddaughter.

"If Eon Jin inherit your gift of healing, Eun Myeong.... She's in a bad shape tonight just like what you feel every full moon." Physician Kwon said while looking at the sky. He went outside to his room and decide to go to the Crown Prince quarter to check on Eon Jin's condition.
