"secrets behind the forest"

"You're not allowed here, Lady Eon Jin... Why are you here?" Tae Pyung said. Eon Jin got shocked on what she heard from him. "Did I heard it right, Your Royal Highness? Why I'm not allowed here?" Eon Jin said. Wol Sook got worried base on Eon Jin's expression, she started to get annoyed but she couldn't approach her. Tae Pyung look at her, "Are you questioning what am I saying, Lady Eon Jin?" Tae Pyung said. "Did you forget who am I?" He added. Eon Jin rolled her eyes and Tae Pyung saw it. "Yah!" He said. 'What's wrong with this woman? It seems she's not afraid on punishment..' In Tae Pyung's mind.

"Waeyo? I know you're the Crown Prince but who are you to stop me from staying on this spot?" Eon Jin said. "This is my spot and no one allowed here except me.... All the places here is belong to the Royal family... So if I were you, I will step out right now go back to your place." Tae Pyung said.

"Aigoo, Lady Eon Jin... He's the Crown Prince... please control yourself.." Wol Sook whispered to herself.

Eon Jin get annoyed because of what Tae Pyung said. She take one step closer to him and she tip her toes. E"Aniyo, Your Royal Highness..." Eon Jin said. Tae Pyung gulped because there's only  an inch closer to her. "This land is belong to the people of Silla... As the Crown Prince, you must never tell that you own the land, the people or anything that you see. You must always note to yourself that it's for your people." Eon Jin said.Tae Pyung couldn't speak because her word hit him. Eon Jin realize how close she is to the Crown Prince when her anger subside. She feel her heart pounding when she look at his eyes and met his gazed. 'What's this? Why I'm feeling nervous everytime he's close to me? Why my heart beats abnormally whenever I look in his eyes?' In her mind.

She immediately take one step backward but because of nervousness she felt she accidentally step on a stone. She was about to fall when Tae Pyung hold her in her waist and grab her in her one arms and pull her closer to him. Tae Pyung smirked, "I save you from the fall, this is my thank you for the wisdom that you shared me..." He whispered. "Huh?" She said as she felt her face are now turning red.

"Your Royal Highness...." Lady Sora said. She try to control her jealousy and annoyance when she saw the two on that kind of position. Eon Jin immediately released herself from his hold and Tae Pyung immediately stood up straight.

"Oh! Lady Sora..." Eon Jin said excitedly when she saw Sora. "What are you doing here? I knew it! That you  still remember what happened in this part of the forest when we we're a kids." Eon Jin said. Tae Pyung look at her, "What do you mean?" He asked. Lady Sora got anxious and her face become pale. "Ah, Lady Sora and me are bestfriends... And this spot is our hide out before... But because of that incident, our parents never allowed us to go here again alone..." Eon Jin explained.  Tae Pyung feel that his heart is pounding. "Can I know what happened?" He asked. "Ah there's a -" Eon Jin is about to speak when Sora suddenly fell to the ground. Wol Sook got shocked.

"Lady Sora.." Tae Pyung said and he immediately approach her. "Are you okay?" He asked. Sora saw Eon Jin is approaching and she pretend that her head is aching. "Are you okay? Eon Jin asked. "Your Royal Highness.... Can you send me to my house... I'm not feeling well today..." Sora said. "Arasso.." Tae Pyung said and carry her. Without looking at to Eon Jin he walk fast with Sora in his arms and left Eon Jin.

Eon Jin look at the two from a far.

"What did you say, Abeonim?" Woo Sung said. He couldn't believe that Eon Jin is listed on the Selection process for the Crown Princess position. "General Son and his family continue to invade the palace.... And now his daughter for the Crown Princess position..." Prince Yu Shin said. "This is all your fault! Woo Sung... If you cooperate with me before amd agreed on the arrangement marriage for General Son's daughter and you... This will never going to happen." Yu Shin said.

Woo Sung didn't expect this. He's only waiting for the right time to confess his feelings to Eon Jin. He wants her but he didn't want to force her to marry him. Woo Sung immediately went outside to go and ask Eon Jin her reason. "Where are you going, Woo Sung... I'm not done talking to you!" Yu Shin said.

Eon Jin is walking near their house. She's from the Min's Residency to chevk on Sora but Sora reject her visit. "Wol Sook... Did I do something wrong to her?" Eon Jin said. She's been curious why Sora is cold towards to her. "Maybe she's not feeling well, My Lady..." Wol Sook said. Eon Jin tilt her head, "I miss her a lot... I miss how we used to be..." She said with her sad voice.

When they reach her home, she saw Woo Sung standing infront of their gate. "Woo Sung Oppa..." She called. Woo Sung look at her and he walk fast to approach her. Woo Sung hug her and got Eon Jin startled. "Waeyo? Did something happened?" She asked. Woo Sung close his eyes and try to control his feelings. "Why you need to do that, Eon Jin? Why you need to list your name on the selection process for the Crown Princess position? Waeyo?" He said. Eon Jin let out a bitter smile. "Because I have to, Oppa..." She said.

They we're both seated infront of the pond inside Son's Residence. "Living in the palace is hard... I don't want you to experience it." Woo Sung said. Eon Jin smile. "Yah! I'm only listed my name but It doesn't mean that I'll be the Crown Princess... So don't worry about it, Oppa..." She said and let out a small laugh. "What if You make it? What if you become the Crown Princess?" Woo Sung said. "Then let it be... If my fate is to live in the palace and if being a Crown Princess is where I can help many people, I'll accept it." She said. Eon Jin got shocked when he saw in his eyes the worry and sadness. "oppa..." Eon Jin Said. "How about your dream? Your life that you wanted? How about... Me... Eon Jin.." Woo Sung said. "I... Couldn't stand to see you in someone else's side..." He said.  Eon Jin didn't know what she's going to answer. Woo Sung hold her hand and look at her. "I like you... I don't know when it all started..." He said. Eon Jin got surprised on what she heard. For her, Woo Sung is a friend that she can depend to. "Woo Sung Oppa... I..." Eon Jin said and slowly pull her hand from his hand. Woo Sung look at how Eon Jin released her hand. "I'm sorry but... I don't know what I'm going to say..." Eon Jin said. Woo Sung force himself to smile. "I'll be waiting on the day that our heart will beat on the same rhythm, Lady Eon Jin." He said. "I only want to tell you what I feel for you and you don't need to answer me right away... I'll be waiting on the day that you will feel what I'm feeling right now..." He added. Eon Jin look at him and she released a small smile. "Thank you for understanding, Oppa... I'm sorry if I can give you the answer what you want to hear from me..." She said.

Woo Sung try to hide the pain he's feeling right now as he was trying to act normal. For him, her feelings is more important to him. He Didn't want to pressure her but he was hoping that the day will come, that Eon Jin will see him as man.

Oh! It looks like it's getting complicated... I think it will have many chapters in this story.... But I'm getting excited on how the two main characters will get close to each other... 😊🤫🤭
