It was pretty elaborated, with tropes as well hinted, so I'd give a whole 5.

Oh my god, the tropes are just *chefs kiss* plus I loved Vinaya's rebellious character as an Indian woman! Every paragraph is neatly explained and also matches the era. You also executed the plot very well, with little or no plotholes. neat.
Grammar/Punctuation: 10

I don't think there's much needed to say here. It was great. I love your writing style as much as other amateur writers here.
