The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room as Jake stirred from his slumber. He blinked groggily, his mind still foggy with sleep, before the events of the day came flooding back to him.

Today was the day of the gathering at Jaeyoon's home— Jaeyoon's??? Yes, Jaeyoon's, because he is back from his coma state, and he was never dead from the start. Even Jake never said his hyung was dead; he was always clear about what he spoke concerning his brother. Jaeyoon was harmed and went into a coma, and after a few years, he came out of the coma.

However, he had to stay hidden for the sake of his family and everyone else. Jay took care of Jake's hyung until then. So, are we finally getting a happy ending? well, I guess so?? The long-awaited reunion would bring their families and friends back together after years of separation.

"Sunoo, are you ready?" Jake's voice echoed from the other room, punctuated by the sound of his hurried footsteps.

Sunoo, adjusting his tie in front of the mirror, called back, "Just two minutes, please!"

With a final adjustment, Sunoo smoothed down his suit and stepped out of the bedroom, a smile playing on his lips. But as soon as Jake caught sight of him, his expression shifted, his eyes dulling with intensity.

"Kim Sunoo, you're under arrest," Jake declared, his voice firm as he approached Sunoo.

Sunoo's smile faltered, confusion flickering in his eyes. "W-what?" he stammered, taken aback by Jake's sudden seriousness.

Before Sunoo could react, Jake reached out and pulled him closer, his movements swift and deliberate. With a deft motion, he snapped a pair of handcuffs around Sunoo's wrists, locking them in place.

Sunoo's heart skipped a beat, his mind racing to make sense of what was happening. "Jake, what are you doing?" he demanded, his voice tinged with apprehension.

Jake's gaze softened, a mischievous glint dancing in his eyes. "For breaking into my heart," he said, his voice low and filled with emotion.

Sunoo's breath caught in his throat as the weight of Jake's words sank in. A rush of warmth flooded his chest, and he felt a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"T-this isn't funny, J-jake?" Sunoo shuttered, his voice tinged with a mixture of disbelief and amusement.

Jake's gaze softened, a playful glint dancing in his eyes. "Oh, but it is, Sunoo," he replied, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "You've committed the crime of stealing my heart, and now you're under arrest."

Sunoo's shock melted away, replaced by a burst of laughter as he realized the absurdity of the situation. "You're ridiculous, Jake," he exclaimed, his laughter echoing through the room. "I can't believe you just handcuffed me for that."

Jake grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Hey, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do," he said, his tone playful yet sincere. "And besides, it's not every day I get to arrest the love of my life."

Sunoo's laughter subsided, replaced by a warm glow spreading through his chest. Despite the unexpectedness of Jake's actions, he couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for the man standing before him. "You're such a dork," he said fondly, reaching out to cup Jake's cheek.

Jake leaned into the touch, his expression softening as he gazed into Sunoo's eyes. "Guilty as charged," he replied, his voice filled with warmth. "But I wouldn't have it any other way."

As they stood there, locked in a moment of shared laughter and affection, the weight of the world seemed to lift from their shoulders. In that fleeting moment, all that mattered was the love they shared and the promise of a future filled with endless possibilities.
