[Hopefully this will make up for all the sad Bucky oneshots I've been writing?]

Bucky had known he'd regret accompanying the team on a walk to Central Park. Because when they got there, Clint whipped out a frisbee and demanded that everyone join in. Bucky included.

So as he watches as Steve laughs as Clint tosses it right over his head, Bucky didn't seem to notice the object heading straight for him until it was too late.

A bright blue frisbee strikes him right in the face, bouncing off his forehead and onto the grass. He growls, rubbing his head when you run up to him.

"I'm so sorry," You sputter, eyes wide with worry. "Are you okay? I didn't hit your nose, right? Because I've broken my friends nose before and-"

"I am fine," He mutters, bending down as stiffly handing you the frisbee. You take it but continue to stand there fussing over him.

"Are you sure? Your face looks kinda red-" Bucky looks up to tell you that he's fine, but the words die on his lips as he sees the wooden hand  attacked to your wrist. He must've been staring because you quickly hide it behind your back. "Sorry, is it bothering you?"

He shakes his head. "No. I'm.." He trails off, hesitantly tugging the glove off his metal fingers and you grin.

"Awesome! But hey, you're looks so.. so-"

"Dangerous?"

"Cool," You say, dropping your hand to your side. "Mines lame compared to yours."

"Hey!" Steve runs up behind Bucky, and you almost forget to breathe because that's Captain America holy crap. "Who's this?"

"I don't know?" Bucky mutters. "She hit me with her frisbee-"

"On accident!" You wave your hands and Steve's eyes instantly find the amputee. "I said I was sorry and-"

"Why don't you join us?" Steve asks, and Bucky's head shoots up in confusion.

"I don't that's a very good-"

Steve nudges Bucky's ribs and he huffs. "You do kind of owe me for this," he gestures to the line on his forehead and your cheeks redden.

"Okay, but I'm not much of a catcher with this hand," You mumble, but Steve doesn't seem to mind at all.

"Then stick with Bucky and you'll be fine,"

Okay, maybe Bucky's not so much regretting his decision anymore. He likes the way you smile when he catches the frisbee and hands it to you, which you throw your tongue poking between your lips and he can't stop staring when you laugh. So yeah, he's glad he came to the park after all.
