Finally it was Sunday. The day you and Pete set aside during the week to spend time with each other.
It was just a breezy, sunny and calm afternoon. Pete suggested you two sit outside and you agreed happily.
Pete took your hand and led you to the hammock. He laid down and you snuggled on top of him, laying your ear to his chest to hear his calming heartbeat. Pete hung his leg over the side and used it to rock the hammock.
You closed your eyes and smiled, feeling a light breeze pick up. Pete laid one arm around your waist and ran his fingers through your hair. He began to gently hum the tune of Le Velo Pour Deux by The Brobecks.
The warmth of Pete, the gentle rocking of the hammock and calming humming made your eyes feel heavy. You yawned and nuzzled your head into Pete's chest once again. You then fell into a peaceful sleep. Pete smiled and kissed your forehead lightly.
"Oh it would be so fine to spend my whole life with you..." He whispered lovingly.
