Part two!!

He started to speak to me and I was so shocked that I didn't hear a word he said.
"I'm sorry what?" I asked, embarrassed.
"Do you know where the requests come in? The books that you-"
"Oh yeah. It's kind of located in a bad place. In the back? I'll show you." I offered.

We walked side by side down a few isles of books and I ran over his words over and over again. The way his accent sounded was just so welcoming.

"So what's your name?" He asked me.
"Y/N. What's yours?"
"Newt." He replied.
"That's unique." I nicely commented.
"Yeah I guess," he said, "But Y/N is too."
"There's actually two girls at my school with my name." Way to go, Y/N. What a dumb thing to-
"Really?" He questioned. We talked and it felt completely normal.

"Here we are." I finally said.
"Thanks." He smiled. I smile back telling him that it was no problem.
"Y/N, I know we just met, but umm... Can I see your book?" He hesitated. I was hoping he would ask me out (geez, Y/N! We just met!), but I handed him my book.

"Trance? By Linda Gerber?" He questioned.
"It's a great book. Really interesting." I replied.
He took a pen from a table, and wrote on my book mark.
"It sounds interesting." He smirked, "I should get going. Bye, Y/N."
"Bye, Newt! Nice meeting you." Nice meeting you? That was the best you could come up with? Really?
"You too." He waved. I waved back.

When he was out of sight I immediately opened the book and gasped at what he wrote. Then grinned like an idiot as I walked home.

Call me.

Idk, for his number I was trying to think of that older song... Y'all probably don't know what I'm talking about... Hahaha sorry.

But I totally recommend the book Y/N was reading! I finished it a little while ago and it was SO good!!
