I ran around the maze corners. I knew I was taking the correct route back.

Something was different... Like the walls had already changed.

I ran even faster. The sun was starting to get dangerously low and I felt sick to my stomach, but I ran on.

I had to get back to the glade. To Newt. I hadn't even told him that I loved him yet...

The thought of Newt and the other Gladers motivated me to run even faster. My legs felt like complete noodles by the time I recognized where I was.

I was still about a mile away from the Glade and I let out a tired groan.

I trudged on past the beetle blades, past the ivy lining the walls, past the WICKED signs, past all of the walls that towered over me...

By the time the doors of the glade were insight, the boys started cheering for me as the doors started to close.

I put the little of energy that I had left into my every movement.

My heart raced, and my feet pounded against the stone ground, and I squeezed through the doors just as they were about to be completely closed.

Everyone looked at me in awe. I bent over and threw up my last meal.

That was exhaustion that I've never felt before. Everything ached, and I couldn't even think straight.

I shakily went to take a cold shower (and brush my teeth), then tried to consume some dinner.

All throughout suppertime Newt kept hugging me and holding my hand and telling me that he was so thankful that I was safe.

That night I crawled into my bed with my boyfriend, Newt, and rested my head on his chest, whispering that I loved him.

I just felt so tired. My fresh clothes felt comfortable against my skin, and Newt always makes me feel warm inside. I was so sleepy...

I guess it was a good moment for it to slip out.

"I love you, too." He kissed the top of my head as I drifted into a deep sleep.

Oh my. I'm taking forever to update all my books:(

I'm sorry because all you guys reading this makes me so happy.

And I just haven't had the time/ I haven't had the motivation to update (mainly lacking time though)
