Newt when you ask him out...
"Newt, are you busy on Friday?" You asked, clearly nervous.
He scanned your face, thinking about how cute you looked when he replied.
"I don't think so."
He knew perfectly well that he had plans, but if you were really asking what he thought you were going to ask, then he would reschedule anything.
"Want to meet at that new ice cream shop? Is seven o'clock okay?"
"Yeah, that's- that's perfect."
You were absolutely radiant.
"Great! It's a date!" You had to restrain yourself from skipping away. Luckily you maintained a casual walk until turning the corner.
"Date," He mumbled, "Im going on a date with Y/n Y/l/n."
He ran a hand through his hair and grinned, starting to walk home.
"I'm going on a date with Y/n Y/l/n," he repeated.
Spoiler alert: the date was imperfectly perfect and they both had a lovely time.
