Aaradhya's Pov.

We boarded a train from Bandra to Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus station.
Mumbai might be famous for job opportunities, night life, food, but most importantly for the local trains.
Trains serves the best and quick transport to common men here.

We both were in general compartment and I could feel lusty stares of the fellow passengers but Riddhant was protective throughout preventing collision from the other men.

We hired a cab once we were out.
The next place, he was taking me was Elephanta Caves.
Elephanta is an Island off Mumbai shore. We took a ferry ride to the caves.

While we were in the ferry, he started talking.

"Blossom, I want to warn you." He whispered.

"For what?" I asked him.

"Don't leave my hand once we reach. The place has a lot of monkeys. Yeah, I know you are one of them but still if you'll leave my hand, I won't be able to recognize you among them." He started teasing me.

"Hey, You're so mean!" I scowled and hit him slightly.

He chuckled at my reaction but started making up.

"Such a lovely couple, must be on their honeymoon."
"Yeah they must be, look at them". Two old women were gossiping about us.
My eyes got widened on their mention of honeymoon.

Riddhant smirked when he noticed my flushed face. I averted my gaze to look at the water hiding my embarrassment before plugging my ear phones in.

We reached the caves after one hour.
There were sculpture arts of medieval era. Elephanta's sculptural art was executed on the walls of the caves as expansive panels, mostly associated with mythology especially with Lord Shiva. We didn't visit all the caves as it was already late.

We were back to the Gateway of India from the last ferry.

"Ree, What's special about this place?" I asked him while noticing many people around mostly foreigners.

"Gateway of India is considered to be one of the must visit destinations in Mumbai, India. It served as the gateway on the west of India for trade and commerce during British Rule." He explained like a true guide.

I was fascinated by the old construction of the Gateway.

I started enjoying the beautiful warmth of sea breeze with him
The beautiful sunset added more glory to it. It reminded me of that day in Mumbai when I had first arrived.

We took few pictures together, mostly selfies.

The next place on our radar was Haji Ali Dargah.
The dargah is one of the most recognisable landmarks of Mumbai.
Dargah's night view looked beautiful, a piece of architecture, that made me awestruck by its colorful reflection in the Arabian sea.

We shopped a lot of stuff from Colaba market after it. I wished to see cricket match at the Wankhede Stadium but during this time, there are hardly any matches held.

We had done enough of sightseeing and shopping.

We walked a mile more intertwining our hands together.

Riddhant promised me to show more places next time.
It was already 8 pm and I was hungry with my stomach groaning loudly.

"Ree, I am hungry." I told him holding my stomach.

"Yes, same here." He replied nodding his head in agreement.

He stopped a cab for us and we hopped in.

"Where are we going?" I asked him while settling in.

"Somewhere I like ". He displayed his goofy smile.

We reached Bademiyan restaurant to relish the best kebabs for our dinner.

It was followed by Ice cream as we savoured ourselves with mocha brownie fudge from the nearest Ice cream outlet which was our favorite.

Something in Common!

We hired a cab again as we both were drained out of energy.
The cab halted near my building.

I exited the car and thanked him. He waved his hand and wished me good night.

Travelling is not an easy job here rather than for those people who are habitual. Riddhant didn't complain about my bossing around and throughout the day, he was my tour guide.

We teased, giggled and he even flirted with me throughout the day.
We had forgotten about our bickering fights and were more behaving like friends. It's hard to believe that we could be just more than cordial after our animosity in the college.

Once I reached, I quickly changed into my nightwear and took out my cell phone.

I firstly called Aditi and narrated her about our whole sightseeing episode in detail. I talked to Maa and Dad too regarding my office experience but skipped the part where I had runaway on my very first day.

After ending the call with them, I texted Riddhant

"Me: Thank you for today. Really had a Great time.
Good night Ree, Sleep well. See you tomorrow at 8:30 am. as usual."

I instantly received his message.

"Riddhant: I am Glad, you liked it. Anyway. Good night. See you tomorrow. Dream about me."

I smiled and pulled my duvet over and drifted to a deep slumber.
