Aaradhya's Pov.

"Tiara." Tears welled up in my eyes as her name rolled out from my tongue.

My friend was lying on the hospital bed while Dr. Ian was examining her. A nurse was helping him.

Her eyes were closed and her beautiful face earlier looked pale and jaded now.

Ian turned around when he heard my sniffing. He rushed to me immediately.

"What are you doing here?
Who gave you the permission to enter?" He hissed and pulled me out to the corridor.

"Tiara.." I pointed towards the room, sobbing.

"You?" He gave me a confused look while I cried more and more.

He quickly made me sit and handed me a glass of water. I drank it calming my nerves down.

"Now tell me, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Wait. Are you..umm.. Aredya." He tried pronouncing my name.

A smile broke on my face hearing him.

"Oh I'm so sorry, Tiara keeps mentioning you." He smiled sheepishly.

"Does she?" I questioned him and he nodded, "Always."

"Why is she here?" I asked him and he instantly looked down.

"Doctor, she's awake and is calling you." The nurse intruded.

We got up and sprinted back to the room. I stopped at door while Ian stood facing her.

"Where were you?" She asked feebly to him.

"I'm always with you, right love?" He pecked her forehead. She closed her eyes and smiled.

"Look, we have a visitor today." He said softly and moved aside.

Tiara, finally noticed me. Her eyes turned red as tears brimmed up. She averted her gaze but wet droplets were still gushing down, "Why are you here, Mrs. Taneja?" She spoke with hoarseness this time.

"Tiara, please don't speak like this." I stuttered.

"Oh did he leave you the way he left me? Too early, didn't he?" She sounded cacophonous while I shook my head in a no.
Ian squeezed her hand and gave me an apologetic look.

"Tiara. Please don't be so cold. Please let me explain." I cried, "Please."

She glanced at Ian who nodded his head.

"Go on."

"Tiara. I didn't do anything intentionally. I tried informing you but failed every time we talked. I didn't know anything till you called, I swear on my mother." I defended myself.

"Oh so you know everything now then what are you here for?" She asked again rudely.

"To know the entire truth from you." I blurted out.

"Yeah right!" She scoffed.

"Please Tiara, I want to know everything from you." I implored again.

She sighed.

"It shouldn't concern you, Aaradhya." She uttered in a low voice.

"It does because you are my friend." I stated the truth.

"Aaradhya please. Go and have a good life. My problems shouldn't bother you. You're married now. It was a mistake that I called you." She said trying to hold herself.

"No I won't go unless you tell me the truth, Tiara." I denied.

"Didn't he tell you anything?"

I nodded.
