Between Gundam and Fuyuhiko, I figured this one would be harder to write for since I'm not good at writing for characters like him. They usually become out of character or I get stuck writing for them. But, might as well try. Also, what better way to start then with Peko's execution! (I am so sorry)
-No POV-
Y/N was shaking as she watched Peko being controlled and forced to cut down all of the wooden samurai. She noticed something from the corner of her eye. She could see Fuyuhiko trying to look over all the samurai to see Peko. Y/N looked at Hajime, who also noticed this. "Hajime, what is he doing?" He shrugged. "No clue." He looked back at Peko, watching her movements.
Y/N could see Fuyuhiko running through the crowd of samurai towards Peko. A samurai was about to attack her, but she cut it down the middle-as well as cutting Fuyuhiko. The right side of his face was cut, the cut going over his eye. Y/N gasped, both hands over her mouth. Even Nagito seemed surprised. He hit the ground, unconscious. Peko held him in her arms before being stabbed in the back.
Y/N's eyes were wide and she was trembling. When the samurai were gone, Y/N ran to Fuyuhiko, a few of the others behind her. She got on her knees next to him. Blood covered half of his face. "Fuyuhiko! Say something! Fuyuhiko!" Monokuma suddenly came in a doctor's outfit, which Y/N would be practically drowning in air laughing at, but, given the situation, she couldn't so much as force a smile. A siren sounded and and ambulance came through the wall. Fuyuhiko was carried into it and it left, leaving Y/N with a worried look on her face. Hajime noticed. "Y/N, is something wrong?" He asked. Y/N looked up at him. "N-No."
"If I were to guess, I would say that you are worried about Fuyuhiko. Is my guess correct?" Sonia asked. "Yeah. You're right on the money, Sonia." Sonia gasped. "I did not know there was money involved!" Y/N gave a small laugh. "It's a figure of speech, Sonia." She sighed. "Perhaps you may teach me these figures of speech someday?" Sonia asked. "Of course." Y/N smiled before her worried expression came back. "Okay, this class trial is officially over! You can leave now!" Monokuma said. No one questioned his sudden appearance. They all left the trial room.
-Time Skip-
Y/N had been locked in her cottage ever since the class trial ended. Everyone was constantly checking on her and bringing her whatever she needed. "Y/N, do you mind if we come it?" Sonia asked. Hajime and Gundam were with her. "Who else is with you?" Y/N asked. "Gundam and Hajime." The three heard the door unlock, so Sonia opened the door. Y/N was on her bed, knees to her chest. Sonia sat next to her, patting her back. "Are you going to be leaving your cottage anytime soon?" Sonia asked. Y/N shrugged. "The others are worried, you know. You've even got Hiyoko concerned. I'd say you're a special person for that to happen. Anyway, the point is we're all really worried about you." Hajime said. "Hajime is right. Even I, Gundam Tanaka, am concerned for your well being." Y/N smiled slightly. "I think I'll go out today." Sonia's face lit up. "Excellent! Well, if you need us, we will be at the hotel." The three then left. Y/N decided to go to the hotel as well.
She entered the hotel and saw Ibuki playing a game with Chiaki. The two looked up, and immediately Ibuki attack hugged her. "You have made Ibuki worried! But, now Ibuki is happy!" Y/N laughed. "Calm down Ibuki!" Ibuki released her from the hug. "By the way, everyone else is upstairs, if you want to go see them." Chiaki stated. Y/N nodded and went upstairs. "Hey guys." Everyone looked in her direction and she was immediately greeted with lots of hugs. "It's nice to see you out and about!" Akane said. "I wasn't sure you were ever gonna leave your cottage!" Nagito remarked. Y/N couldn't stop laughing as everyone spoke.
"Are you guys done being all happy and shit?" Y/N, finally free from the giant hug she got, looked over everyone to see...
"Fuyuhiko!" She smiled brightly. She ran over and hugged him tightly, much to his surprise. He didn't fight, but he didn't hug back either. He just kinda accepted it. "I was worried about you! I was scared you were going to die on us!" She said, hugging him tighter. She freed him from the hug, wiping the tears that began to escape her eyes.
-Time Skip-
-Fuyuhiko's POV-
"Hey, Fuyuhiko." Y/N waved to me. "Hey." I was leaning against the side of the hotel, hands in my pockets. She stood next to me, looking at the ground. She looked like she was thinking about something. I looked at her with confusion. What is she thinking about?
'What do I do?'
What the-?! Did I just become a mind reader or something?! That was Y/N's voice!
-Shot Through the Heart event-
'I don't get it.'
'Whenever I'm near Fuyuhiko...'
'My heart just starts racing.'
'Is this...what love feels like?'
'Well, even if I told him...'
'He'd probably doesn't feel the same.'
'I mean, he loves Peko.'
'He probably doesn't want to feel like he's trying to replace her.'
'Maybe I just shouldn't mention it.'
'I think that's the right choice.'
'I don't want to ruin our friendship.'
I was surprised. "Y/N." She looked up at me. "Y-Yes, Fuyuhiko?" She had a strange look in her eyes. "There's no way whatever you have to say could ruin our relationship. I just want you to know that." She smiled a bit. "Fuyuhiko, I have a question to ask you." She started, turning so she was fully facing me. "What is it?"
"Do you, um, do you...no, forget it." She began walking away before I grabbed her wrist. She looked at me over her shoulder, a blush creeping to her face. "You can stay, you know." I let go of her wrist and she turned to face me again. "I-Okay, um...do you like me? As m-more than just a friend?" She looked down, her eyes shut tight and her face a bright red, as if she was expecting me to say no. I hugged her tightly, giving her the answer she hoped for.
"Fuyuhiko, d-do you really...?" I pulled back and nodded. I pressed my lips against hers. She melted almost instantly. We soon parted for air. "I didn't think you would actually return my feelings." Y/N said. "Well, I can't hide my feelings forever."
