I was on the good ole google maps and I went to my hometown and ugh I miss it so much
The house I lived in was built in 1955 by my grandmother (on my fathers side) and the road it's on is named after my family which is pretty cool
But it was such a nice place
Everyone was nice
Every year there was a huge lawn party and parade for the Fourth of July
And the parade was always held a street down from mine so I would just run to the parade and everyone in the town knew who my family was (my grandpa was mayor) so obviously everyone knew who I was and everyone WAS SO NICE TO ME
I just miss it so much ;((((
I have so many good memories like staying at the lawn party really late and walking home at night and bats would always come out and I would always try to watch them fly around with my dad but it was too dark, and I miss going to the prep-school nearby and getting cookies (don't ask me why I got cookies from the prep-school idk why I did but I just always got cookies)
And there was this really nice park nearby and we'd have family reunions there and at that park there was a waterfall and I just miss looking at it in awe with my siblings
UGH I WANNA MOVE BACK
But good thing is, my families been talking about it ;)))))
But a bad thing would be that everyone still knows who my family is so people would ASK to get photos and IM NOT HERE FOR THAT
AHAHA and so then I went to the city I moved to after that town and OMG
that city was soooooo busy
The college my father went to is there and when he went it was a fairly large college BUT NOW ITS PRACTICALLY THE WHOLE CITY
I did really like my neighborhood though.
I had so many friends in that neighborhood, I'd always bike to their house.
Man what a nice city...
I GOT MY FIRSY BEE STING IN THAT CITY AHAHAHAH My mom was like "put shoes on before going out Dani" and I was like "it's the summer so no" and I walked out and started to walk down the steps and once my feet met with the grass BAM I GOT STUNG AND my foot was so swollen but my mom made me a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake so hey (I was like 10 but AHAHAH everyone likes Mickey)
I also had my first "love" whilst living in that city but that's a story for another time
I just really miss my childhood, everyone in those places were so chill and nice (even tho the city was 75% college student but hey the boys were cute)
The town I live in now is fine but it's so lonely, we only have population of 4K and the other places had like 50k soooooo
But I'm moving soon so hopefully I'll move somewhere with a population that's not as small as 4K AHAHAH
