We went to the room that we reserved for the reception. Sebastian and I sat in the center of a long, rectangle table without families on the sides of it. Then there were many tables for the New Directions and Warblers.

Everybody was talking, laughing, and having some drinks. Then everybody quieted down as My dad tapped his glass.
"Hello, how's everybody doing? Anyways, I am here to give a long speech on how you two will live a long happy life. I think you will be happy, but not everyday of marriage is as happy. When we lost Dylan, it was one of the hardest times we have suffered, but it got better. Then, we almost lost you, and we were all worried. You were lucky enough to stay with us. Now, Tessa, my beautiful, smart daughter, I trust you guys will get through life together. Cheers to Getting through Life." My dad made his fatherly toast. We all raised our glasses, and took a sip. Then my dad opened his mouth, "Now, it is the traditional bride and grooms dance." He announced. When he said that Sebastian stood up, and grabbed my hand. Sam and Brittany were going to sing the song that we were forced to slow dance to.

[Sam:]
Saying I love you
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy
It would be to show me how you feel

[Brittany and Sam harmonizing:]
More than words
is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say
that you love me
'Cause I'd already know

[Sam and Brittany with New Directions harmonizing:]
What would you do
if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say
if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words

la li la la li la li la la la
More than words
la li la la li la la
huuuu

[Brittany with New Directions harmonizing:]
Now that I've tried to
(talk to you and make you understand)
All you have to do is (close your eyes)
And just reach out your hands
and touch me
Hold me close don't ever let me go

More than words
is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say
that you love me
'Cause I'd already know

[Brittany with New Directions harmonizing:]
What would you do
if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say
If I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you

After the song, everybody clapped. Then, another song played, and everybody began to dance on the dance floor. It was really an open mic to sing. After awhile, I decided to sit down and talk with Blaine. Half way through the conversation, the microphone noise startled everybody.
"Whoa, sorry, bout that. Um, hi. I decided to come up here and sing the song that I was singing with The Warblers when I first met Tess, so this is for you." He pointed as his fellow warbler that originally sang the solo grabbed the mic. In this song, Sebastian had a few solo sections other than that it was the first song that triggered my love for him.

Ooooh, Ooooh

Uptown girl
She's been livin' in her uptown world
I bet she never had a backstreet guy
I bet her mama never told her why
I'm gonna try for an

Uptown girl
She's been livin' in her white bread world
As long as anyone with hot blood can
And now she's looking for a downtown man
That's what I am

And when she knows what she wants
from her time
And when she wakes up
and makes up her mind
She'll see I'm not so tough
Just because
I'm in love with an

Uptown girl
You know I've seen her in her uptown world
She's getting tired of her high-class toys
And all her presents from her uptown boys
She's got a choice

Sebastian and the Warblers all were even doing the exact dance. I was just laughing, cause it brought back my high school years.

Oooooooooooooooh [x2]

Uptown girl
Y'know I can't afford to buy her pearls
But maybe someday when my ship comes in
She'll understand what kind of guy I've been
And then I'll win

And when she's walkin'
she's lookin' so fine
And when she's talkin'
she'll say that she's mine
She'll say I'm not so tough
Just because
I'm in love with an

Uptown girl
She's been livin' in her white bread world
As long as anyone with hot blood can
And now she's looking for a downtown man
That's what I am

Oooooooooooooooh [x2]

Uptown girl
She's my uptown girl
You know I'm in love with an
Uptown girl
She's my uptown girl
You know I'm in love

With an uptown girl

Everybody clapped again. When we were cutting the cake, I forgot that the photographer that we hired probably snapped a whole bunch of pictures throughout the ceremony and reception.
Anyways, we cut the cake into two, small slices for Sebastian and I. When we sat down, we both took bites out of the cake, and then Sebastian used a little bit of the frosting to smear across my nose. I laughed even more, and wiped it above his mouth to make a frosting mustache. We both kissed, and wiped off the frosting.
After the reception we hurried off into Sebastian's car where we hired a driver to drive us to the airport. Sebastian planned a surprise honeymoon. Even though we talked about places, he had this whole surprise honeymoon plan. We were luckily prepared, and had suitcases in the back of the car. We rode off holding each other's hands, and I was officially Mrs. Tessa Smythe.
