Model turned actress Skye Parker has had an amazing career. It's been one full of success, notoriety and fame. There is one huge thing missing though, someone to share it with.
Who would have known that a harmless interview question on a late night...
Last week Ian and Skye Somerhalder had the nation in hysterics when they appeared on close friend Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. Not only did the pair earn rave reviews for their comedy sketches but they also helped in making it the most watched show of the entire week across all channels.
During the interview section Skye, along with husband Ian discussed everything from their wedding day, the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries, and even shared some pretty personal details about Skye's pregnancy.
Not shying away from the subject, Skye was more than happy to show off her small bump to the audience and people watching at home. Standing up and pulling her t-shirt tight against her skin a visible bump could clearly be seen. She then followed this by summoning her self proclaimed "brother from another mother" Justin Timberlake out on stage. It was at this point where her and Ian asked both JT and Jimmy if they would be godparents to little baby Skian.
A week on, the pair are still enjoying some quiet time in New York, before they head back to Georgia where they film their hit CW show.
Looking totally loved up, the expectant parents walked through the city hand in hand (see pic below).

Ian seemed very protective of his supermodel wife, and rightly so considering she is carrying precious cargo.
Wearing a baggy t-shirt dress, there wasn't much to see for the bump watch fans. It seems the Vogue cover star is dressing for comfort rather than vying to be a maternity fashion icon.

Later on in the day the smiling twosome were spotted in Greenwich Village where they share a home together.

It's still not clear what the pregnancy means for Skye's future on Vamp Diaries. With her being nearly 4 months along it's only a matter of time before the bump suddenly pops.
At the end of the day as long as they're happy, we're happy. Keep smiling Skian. You deserve all the happiness in the world.
