Model turned actress Skye Parker has had an amazing career. It's been one full of success, notoriety and fame. There is one huge thing missing though, someone to share it with.

It's the news all Skian shippers have been eagerly anticipating. Yesterday Ian Somerhalder confirmed via Instagram that he and supermodel wife Skye are expecting a baby girl.
With a few days off from filming their hit show The Vampire Diaries, the couple flew home to L.A to attend a gala for Ian's charity ISF. It was whilst they were getting ready that Ian took a snap of Skye (below) which quickly went viral online.

Not only was it captioned with the amazing news, it was also our first proper look at Skye's growing bump.
During the gala the husband and wife confirmed to attending press that baby Somerhalder is due in early June, just 3 months away. Not long to go guys.
As if we haven't been spoilt enough, this morning Skye was photographed heading to a meeting in Hollywood and once more we were treated to a glimpse of her blossoming figure.

Cradling her stomach and with a contented smile on her face, the model turned actress was the epitome of happiness.
With only a few months left to go until their baby girl enters the world, it's safe to say Skye and Ian will take a break from the limelight soon. We can only hope that the pairs love for social media doesn't waver and they keep us updated right up until labour day.
