The brunettes fashion career took a backseat when she met now husband Ian and got her part on TVD. Since getting married and giving birth to gorgeous daughter Brooke, the actress has found it difficult to juggle both motherhood and two careers.
A few weeks ago during an interview on Ellen, Ian happily discussed his and Skye's plans once Vamps is all wrapped up, "obviously our priority is Brooke. Spending as much time making memories with her is at the top of our list." "Skye and I are too active to completely give up work altogether though. I have my foundation which I'll be able to concentrate on a lot more and Skye has a few modelling campaigns lined up."
Judging by these new pics of Skye coming in, it's pretty clear that the modelling jobs Ian talked about couldn't wait.

On Skye's side, just over her ribs, is quite a big scar, a physical reminder of the horror car crash that nearly took her life now over a year ago.

Skye described the injury that caused the scar as multiple rib breaks, that resulted in a flailing chest. "My ribs on the right side had basically shattered, collapsing in and piercing my lung. They had to operate as soon as I got to the hospital. I have a pretty huge scar now, and I was very conscious of it at first. Ian describes it as a reminder of how close he came to losing me and now a symbol of how lucky I am to be here."

Sporting a couple of different ensembles for the shoot, Skye looked on top of the world. The campaign which is due for public release next summer is a collaboration between UK store Selfridges and designer Stella McCartney.
