Viola's POV
I walked back to my flat disappointed at the scene that was before me, I expected any kind of reaction from Sherlock. I expected he might even try to shoot me, but I never expected to find another woman lying down in what used to be OUR bedroom.
It was a slap to my face, I wanted to wake them both up, maybe shoot the girl and torture her a little and take a few punches at Sherlock. However, if there was anything I've learned in the past traumatic events I've been through since the kidnapping... it was to control the anger I had in me. This must be what growing up feels like.
I let the scene slide past my mind, if anything I had no right to interrupt his life anymore. I knew I wasn't thinking straight and I might have accused him falsely of being involved with someone. But for God's sake! This is Sherlock Holmes, he doesn't go to bed with a woman he doesn't have feelings for. Sherlock Holmes was not a person who cuddles, and hugs, and shows affections and closeness to a girl.
I sighed in frustration, sure I'm going to let it slide but I couldn't help it. I was feeling terrible, I was feeling betrayed or cheated on... I never expected this. I was happy to be back, I couldn't wait till tomorrow to go see him that's how much I wanted to be with him, to talk to him, bicker with him, and maybe piss him off a little bit.
I kept thinking the whole time I was walking, I realized I was back at the new house. I looked at my watch, it was 2:30 in the morning. I bet my father thought I wouldn't be back until tomorrow. I kicked off my shoes, and went to the kitchen to pour myself a glass of wine. It was funny how a while back I was dying in a cell, and here I was in this fancy new modern kitchen sipping wine.
Life is ridiculous, I took back my glass of wine and went to my room. This house was like a dream house to me, I had a huge room with a king sized bed, everything was grey and white, everything was fancy. I looked at my luggage, I decided to unpack even though I was super tired. I took my laptop out and put on a funny series I was watching. I always loved the sound of it in the background, people talking, a little noise in my room... for the past months it kept me from being lonely.
I started unpacking my things, organized my closet in a good manner and I organized my weapons in a different closet. Compared to how I used to live before, this was heaven to me. I was living a luxurious life, with great parental figures, and it felt great. However, money was not everything. I would pay half my life to have Sherlock back, not even that... I would pay half my life to forget the scene I saw earlier. This was a big deal to me...
When I finished packing up my things, I drained my wine glass and put myself to bed. I planned on giving Mary notice that I was back in London, she knew all along I faked my own death... I needed her help in managing things at ER while I was gone. Of course, John, Sherlock and Mycroft knew nothing about this. I've told her to pay back everything I owed to people, I told her to shut down the mafia part about ER and to put Josh in charge since he was the most trusted agent I had.
The Next Morning
I woke up feeling refreshed, I took a nice bath and decided today I would go out to buy a new phone and a new number. I walked downstairs to find Aline in the huge kitchen cooking up fancy breakfast. My father was watering the plants and they were both chatting and laughing about something. "Good morning dad, and Aline" I greeted walking into the kitchen.
"Morning sweetie! Breakfast?" Aline asked and I shook my head "Not hungry" "Morning Viola, thought you wouldn't be back at the house" my father winked at me. I scowled at him "Dad, this is embarrassing that's one.. and two no because I didn't see him" I sighed sitting down on the kitchen table. "What happened?" Aline asked concerned. "Ugh I don't wanna talk about it yet" I said shaking the earlier thought from my head.
