I'm making another part of this, so don't worry

"Michael. Your future is important to this kingdom!"

Michael sighed. "I know. I just don't understand why I have to marry her!"

"You know why." His father sighed. "Michael, this will stabilize our country. She's a great leader, people look up to her, and she's very pretty! You're lucky she's your age, Michael. You should be more thankful that I'm giving you this."

"I don't want to marry her." Michael said through gritted teeth. "Dad. We've had this talk already. I'm gay."

"Well, I guess you're going to have to turn it off." Michael rolled his eyes realizing that there was no way to change his dads mind.

He stood up and marched out of the room, storming towards his hideout.

"Michael?" Jeremy asked, holding a tray of tea and cookies. "What's wrong?"

Michael huffed in annoyance, running a hand through his hair. "I just-" He cut himself off, glancing around. "Who are those for?" Michael asked, pointing towards Jeremy's tray.

"Uh, you and your father...?" Michael pulled Jeremy towards his hideout, mumbled to himself as he jumped up and pulled the light fixture down. As he landed, a door opened.

He went forward, knowing Jeremy would be right behind him. Jeremy raced after Michael, placing the tray down on a coffee table before engulfing Michael in a hug.

"I'm sorry. It's gonna be okay, okay? I'm here." Jeremy softly whispered into Michaels ear as he drew shapes into Michaels back. Michael held Jeremy tightly, trying to control his breathing.

"Hey. Do you, uh, let's talk about this." Jeremy gently guided Michael over to the couch, setting him down close to him.

"I just. Ugh." Michael dryly chuckled. "My dad. He picked out this 'Princess who's Perfect' for me. He knows I'm gay, but I mean, he thinks I can turn it off."

Jeremy ignored the fluttering in his chest as he looked at Michael. "Well, uh, maybe she's gay too?"

"Oh no, she is. But like, I don't want marriage if we both don't like each other. You know? It's just. It seems stupid to marry just for the good of the kingdom."

"Okay. Well, uh, maybe..." Jeremy trailed off. "Well, do you know who it is? Maybe we can work something out with her, like, privately? And then, at the wedding, we can do a thing, you know?"

"Okay, everything you said was worded weirdly, but I think I know what you're saying."

Michael walked around the room, towards a window. He looked out for a few moments, before he continued. "Okay, so I think I have a game plan. Which is good, because she just arrived."

"Oh shit. That was too quick. Why's she here so early? Oh god, we need to do so much-"

Michael chuckled. "Don't worry, this'll work. Well, except... there's just one thing..." Michael trailed off, looking at Jeremy. He walked over to him, kneeling down the ground in front of him.

"Will you marry me?"
