"Connor. Connor please."

Connor just hummed, making sure she knew he heard her, but that he wasn't going to stop.

"Connor. It's just a sprained ankle. I'm fine!"

"You said that when your appendix ruptured, just so you could take your physics test. I don't trust you with pain."

"Wow. I feel hurt." Alana said sarcastically, smiling at her boyfriend.

"Well, Yeah. You twisted your ankle. Now hold on, we're almost to my house."

Alana huffed, but allowed Connor to carry her to his house, and didn't make any noise of complaint when He brought her to his room. He set her down carefully on his bed, before going into the bathroom to get medical supplies and to the kitchen to get an ice pack.

He tied up her ankle quickly and efficiently. "Is that too tight?"

"No, no it's fine." Alana said, pushing her glasses up. "Um, I'm sorry if this is personal, but uh, how, how are you so good at this? Like uh, wrapping and stuff?" She asked, squeezing Connors hand.

Connor didn't answer right away. "When I was younger, I'd get hurt a lot. I'd, like, fall out of trees, or cut my hand on branches, you know. Kiddy stuff." He paused, letting go of Alana's hand. "And uh, well, I uh, in high school I would..." he trailed off, but Alana knew what he meant.

"Are you... better now?"

"Yes." Connor emphasized. "Much better. But uh, less about me. Your ankle-"

"Is fine Con! I'm fine. I just want to cuddle with you. Please?"

"Whatever my princesses heart desires." Connor said, giving his girlfriend a dramatic bow. "Would you like any refreshments with that?"

"Why yes, Sir Connor, I would." Alana said, standing to get out of bed.

"No! No, you stay here. I'll go. Stay." Connor insisted, making sure Alana was back in bed and tucked in. He gave her a kiss on her forehead before pulling away. "I'm sorry I'm so... stressed? Stressed about this."

"Hey, baby." Alana pulled Connors face to look at her own. "It's okay. Thank you for caring. I love you so much."

Connor gave her a wide smile, happy to finally feel loved. "I love you too."
