"Hey Alana-bo-bana banana."

"What do you need, Jared." Alana asked, not bothering to look up.

"Okay, so uh, I may or may not have told Evan that I had planned an amazing date for tonight."

"Let me guess. You haven't even thought about it until now?"

Jared nervously laughed. "Maybe?"

Alana sighed, rolling her eyes. "Well. That's just fantastic." She shut her textbook, pulling out her phone. "Let me just text Zoe the emergency, and we will help you. But you owe us."

"I'll buy you guys dinner and milkshakes."

"You really know how to win a persons heart."

"I sure fucking hope so."

"Okay. Well, Evans like, super like, chill. So don't take him somewhere. He'd love it if you just did something sweet at your house."

"Wait, Seriously?" Jared asked. "But like, there's a carnival in town, and-"

"Okay, uh, have you met your boyfriend? He has anxiety. He'd want to be alone with you, you dipship." Zoe said, looking through Jared's movie collection. "Alana, Beauty and the Beast?"

"Perfect. I have fairy lights in my car from our little picnic date. Zoe, can you grab the blankets from your house? Oh! And those like, big pillows? I'll run to the store and get chocolate and stuff. Oh! And pizza."

"French fries!" Zoe added, already headed out the door with his girlfriend trailing behind.

"Wait, what do I do?" Jared asked as the door closed. "Guys?"

"Alright. We've got pizza, fries, some of that cherry soda Evan likes, Beauty and the Beast, fairy lights, fuzzy blankets and fluffy pillows... Zoe, I think we did pretty good."

"Of course we did." Zoe said, smiling wide. "Now jared, I was promised dinner and milkshakes."

"Yeah yeah," Jared said, handing Zoe forty dollars. "Get wild, ladies. Now leave, Evan will be here any minute!"

He rushed the girls outside, and quickly ran back inside to pretend he was setting up things.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang, and Jared opened the door for Evan Luke a gentleman. "Hello my good sir."

"Hi Jar-bear." Evan mumbled quietly, smiling softly at Jared. Jared felt his heart melt at how loving Evan looking.

"I uh, it's, we can..." Jared trailed off, pointing to his living room. Jared grabbed Evans hand, pulling him towards the couch. Evans eyes widened as he looked around, and tears started to form.

"You... you did all of this, Jared?" Evan asked, turning to look at Jared with bright eyes.

"Of course love. I did it all. For you."
