A LONG CHAPTER THAT I LOVE WITH ALL MY HEART. ITS MY FAVOURITE CHAPTER YET, SO ENJOY AND COMMENT ALONG PLEASE. Spam the comment section and I'll love you forever xoxoxoxoxo

It was like you could hear a ticking clock slowly ticking away in the background, both lovers stood opposite each other dreading for each of their next moves. It's not like Harry wanted Luna to leave him, and it's not like Luna wouldn't say yes to Harry's inevitable question, but the timing was awfully poor.

Luna couldn't help but think it was too soon, I mean in her eyes they just agreed to move into a new house together, isn't that a big enough step as it is? Harry saw an open window and decided to climb right on through.

His open window of chance was that Luna was knocking down some serious walls and letting Harry in. She had agreed to move in with him, he didn't think asking for her hand in marriage would cause such a scene. To him it's nothing compared to the big day that'll really come along.

"Come on Luna, say something," he begged silently. She hadn't moved or breathed a word, he knew she was frozen to the spot she has stood in for the past five minutes. Maybe she wasn't leaving because she is also in it for the long run, but because she's not speaking, Harry didn't know. "What do you want Luna? Just tell me what you want from and with me, we can go from there," Harry bargained. He wanted her to be comfortable, but somehow he knew avoiding the marriage question would only leave unnecessary tension between them. A very thick unnecessary tension that you could cut straight through with a sharp knife.

"I want you," she said lowly. "But I'm so young, you need someone better than this —"

"Your age isn't a problem to me —"

"Then why are you not asking me the question? You said it yourself, I'm nineteen this year, I'm too young."

He puffed out a sigh, running his fingers through his hair, pulling harshly at the roots. She is young, six years younger than him to be exact — well five years, as she's nineteen next month. "Your age isn't an issue to me, but getting married is a big deal, I don't want you to put yourself into this situation if you aren't ready for something like this."

"I don't understand."

"Well I'm twenty four now, that's almost half way to thirty. I said to myself as a teen that I'd be married before then. I haven't got time to waste being in and out of different relationships, I wouldn't want that anyway even if I had time. I'm not wifing you up because I want to be married before thirty, I'm doing it because I know what I want, and what I want is you. Why should I waste time when I know I'll be with you, if you want me that is. I can see us having kids together, me painting the bedroom for our baby and you watching with this big belly and telling me all the names you've decided on. Which I won't like any, because you'll pick names like Melody or Saturn," he chuckled. Luna couldn't help but giggle at the use of Saturn, considering that's what she was supposed to be called but her father changed his mind. "I'm so in love with you, I can't ever see myself with somebody else. I don't want anybody else. Sure we won't actually get married for a while, but still, being engaged is a big thing too I guess."

"So you don't think I'm committed to being with just you?"

"No no," Harry shook his head. "I believe you can do that. I just think because you're so young, you'll want to experiment or you'll change your mind. You're going to want to spread your wings, I've done that already and I have a career and a life I'm planning because I did that. You haven't had that chance yet, you are still a teenager whether you want to classify yourself as that or not. And teenagers need freedom, and they need fun. Being engaged is probably not any fun, because it's like some unspoken law binding thing between two people."
